Great family getaway

This condo was perfect for our family adventures. It is centrally located so very easy to drive to the North or South sides of the island. The pool was beautiful and the water slides were a hit for the kids. The condo was well maintained and perfectly stocked. We would love to stay here again!

This place is amazing, set in a lovely location and incredibly well furnished. We’ve stayed in a lot of lovely spots all over the world, but this one ranks up there in terms of affordability and location. Set in a complex right on the beach with distance views of ocean this condo is perfect. 5 stars all around. Would love to come back one day

Great Property, perfect location

Really nice property, resort is a nice home base for a great island vacation. Close to shops and restaurants. Centrally located so what ever side of the island you are want to visit you are not more then an hour away. Host was great with communication and the check in was smooth as could be.no problems at all

Amazing condo and location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waipouli Resort. The condo was extremely clean— truly every corner of the unit was spotless! The bed was super comfortable, we all slept very well all week. We also enjoyed the view from the condo. Everything was absolutely perfect!

Great unit in a great location.

The condo was very comfortable and in a good location to visit either the north or south side of the island. The air conditioning and fans were a welcome relief from the heat and humidity. The pool is fun with a wandering path and 2 water slides. Highly recommended!

Great Views with upscale accommodations

I'm starting to realize that I enjoy VRBO more than hotels because you know your room before you get there. Hotels have great pictures, but often put you in undesirable locations of the hotel. This place was perfect for us. The suite was upscale with the high end appliances and nice granite. Kitchen and bathrooms were great. I was able to have a drink on the lanai and enjoyed looking over the pool and seeing the ocean as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

Better than the Grand Hyatt

We absolutely loved the property. It was very clean and welcoming. You could tell a lot of care went into it. It had a great central location so we could enjoy all parts of the island easily. We stayed at the grand hyatt for the second half of our vacation and felt more at home here. We will definitely look into renting this property again. The only con was that the app they use wasnt available for android but my girlfriend has an iphone so it all worked out. 10/10

The resort's lazy river is a wonderful way to relax, and the grounds are very clean and beautiful. Each day, we found Hawaiian monk seals lounging on the beach. The unit is well kept and immaculate. Reviewer Comments: Everything we expected at Waipouli Resort unit E406. Air conditioning failed after 2 days but was readily fixed after the weekend. Everything was clean and tidy except for the vent and surrounding area in the kitchen ceiling which had a large spot of mold. There was also mold on the inside panel of the curtains; both in living room and bedroom. For the price I would have expected more care in these areas.

Room sizes were generous for a week stay but a little cramped with an infant and nanny using the pull out couch at night. Room overall needed a deep cleaning to get some stains out of the curtains etc but we spent most of the time out of it than in it.

Pros: Really nice kitchen with updated top of the line appliances and nice dishes. Loved having 2 bathrooms with huge soaking tub plus shower. Lanai felt nice and private with comfortable chairs and a pool/ocean view. Unit is right by elevator so easy access. Our daughter loved the slides in the pool. The restaurant Oasis was surprisingly good and had a nice ambiance. Central location to north and south shores and convenient grocery store across the street. Cons: Even though we knew the east side beaches were not great, we were a bit disappointed coming from having stayed in Princeville the previous nights which is much more beautiful of a location. The condo was very clean but the couch could use a steam or updating as it had a big stain on it. I also found the bed uncomfortable - the side I was on had a big depression in it. But my daughter loved the sleeper couch which had a Tempurpedic mattress. No beach gear like beach chairs or boogie boards to use but Poipu beach has rentals. Overall, we had a good stay in the condo but just know that you can't compare East side to Princeville or Poipu.
