Kapalua Resort has an inherent richness of beauty and culture. From snorkeling with the sea turtles in pristine waters on white sandy beaches, or taking in the beautiful views while whale watching from the Kapalua coastal trail, this property has so much to offer! The Ridge Villas were originally built in 1980 and were designed to blend into the terraced hillside overlooking the beauty of Kapalua’s coastline. The property sits above the Bay Villas and is a short drive from shops, markets and restaurants in Kapalua. Conveniently located minutes from world-renowned golf courses at Kapalua and Kaanapali and steps from shops, markets and restaurants in Kapalua, the Ridge Villas are surrounded by everything you would need on your Maui vacation. This property is also just a few minutes from Napili and Kahana for more dining pleasures and just a few miles away from the excitement of Kaanapali Resort. This unit proudly features:

The Ridge Villa location has breathtaking ocean views of the islands of Molokai, Lanai and Honolua Bay. This villa has high ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, three full bathrooms and a washer/dryer. Located on the property are two heated swimming pools, gas barbecues and recreation areas for the convenience of owners and guests. Free reserved covered parking and free WIFI are also included. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or fun-filled getaway, or the perfect quiet and quaint spot to rejuvenate. End your Maui vacation days relaxing with your favorite beverage!

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor. Maui on the Fly for baby equipment rentals – this includes baby beach toys and other beach necessities for children. For more details and information check them out on the web!

Kapalua’s beauty can be enjoyed through hikes, restaurants and gorgeous beaches. The hiking trails at Kapalua range from easy to extremely difficult! Enjoy the ease of the Kapalua Coastal Trail, the Village Trails or the very difficult Mahana Ridge Trail.

Beautiful Rental on Fox Island, I would definitely stay there again. Unfortunately, my trip wasn’t as long because my son got sick, but they were very accommodating and allowed me to still use some of the days. I definitely want to bring my family back when we have more time to spend. We highly recommend a small family or a couples vacation. The home was very clean and cozy.

The location was amazing, close to good surf breaks and secluded enough from the crowds. The condo was clean and we really felt at home there. One minor thing is that beds were a little hard and pillows a bit flat. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to come back soon!

Our original condo was sold and I did not realize my emails were going to my junk mail. Sullivan Properties called me and made sure I knew of the change. Everything was clean, but a little “tired”. There were paint supplies in our bathroom closet and the bedroom closet was filled with some things people left that we did not need. But it was something we could work around. The condo was in a great location and we appreciate the items left to get us started. Would definitely rent from Sullivan Properties again and use this condo. It was very nice for the price.

Great view and quick access (5min walk) to Kapalua trail which has a beach right there but waves are bigger, more advanced swimmers. However with a walk south 20mins you are a Kapalua bay which is great for kids (mine are 8 and 11 yrs old). They played in those waves for a long time and snorkeling option as well. And, a 10min walk north on the trail (concrete trail through The Ritz property) gets you to DT Flemming which has stronger waves for body surfing. The honolua general store was a 10-15min walk, the shorter route was a little on golf cart trail. The condo is across the street from the very nice pool and cabana when you want a break from the beach!The condo itself was very clean, the kitchen was updated but rest is not but in good shape and very spacious with 2 large en-suite bathrooms. The property was very well maintained with lovely landscaping and friendly geckos and snails just outside.

Great condo and views

We have stayed in approximately six condos in the kapalua villas and this was definitely a favorit. We typically ha e booked the same 2 fir a couple of years, however decided to try a new one. Great layout, close to the pool, amazing views, clean and the kitchen is updated. I had to work a few days and the internet was strong and fast. We definitely would stay here again.

Maui Paradise

This condo was a gem. Large self-contained bedroom which was great for adult children. The kitchen and main area was roomy and comfortable. The best part was the large windows and view from the balcony. We watched whales and dolphins all day. The kitchen had all the plates/pans/bowls and utensils that you would need, we cooked in almost every night putting the kitchen to the test. You will need bring almost all the groceries from salt to oil to tin foil, if you can bring this from home it is cheaper.If you don't know Kapalua, it is a quiet spot on a busy island, it has great walks and beaches close, this is a must stay if going to Maui.

Great location

We’ve stayed at Kapalua Ridge Villas many times so we know what to expect from the property. This is a rare two bedroom, three bath unit which was great for our traveling group. Two separate master suites so plenty of space and privacy. We cooked in the majority of the time, appliances are excellent and a good assortment of cooking pans. TV could use an upgrade to a smart TV, no one wants to watch cable, but getting Netflix, etc easily would be nice. We had a few issues after checking in but the management acted swiftly to resolve them, very satisfied. Only other suggestion would be to have four adult beach chairs available for a 2 bedroom unit.

Kapalua Ridge is glorious

We love Kapalua and the Ridge units. This one has great views and tons of space. Really enjoyed proximity to pool and main road / beaches. Still felt quiet and secluded. The unit could use updating / refreshing, and we were unable to extend our checkout by even a short time without paying extra money.

Paradise!

My family absolutely loved our stay at “The Ridge” Beautiful Ocean view and sliding doors in every room! The condo was extremely clean and stocked to get us started on our vacation. There was an issue with a pipe in the small bathroom which made it unusable but the property manager called us before our trip to let us know the situation and did give us another option. She was so kind and apologetic but we still opted to stay at this property as there are 2 other big bathrooms and that’s all we needed! The pool is right across the street and the whole area is beautiful! Everyone in the area is so kind and welcoming! We would recommend this condo to everyone!

Great location, great condo

Check in process was easy and smooth. Felt like an incredibly safe place to stay. 5 minute walk to one beach, 25 minutes of on another. Cart and chairs were available. All appliances worked as described with no problems. Very clean property with clean linens and surfaces. Beach towels were provided as well! Private parking spot was nice. Pool was only 20 yards away. There were essentially no issues whatsoever from check in to check out!

We were extremely happy we chose this condo for our 6-day stay in March 2024. Great location, fantastic view, beautiful grounds, spaceous unit with exvellent floor plan, renovated kitchen - these all score 10 out of 10. The Ritz-Carlton and Montage properties as well as a convinience store are all within walking distance. Walk to a beach is 2min. Some reviewers noted a dated bathrooms, but I think they are actually retro cool, except that vanities (and paint-peeling doors) need to be redone. Some of furnishings are dated/worn out but that did not bother us. I want to point that this is a lower level condo and that someone lives above. One rainy day this part of the island was without electricity and the neighbor above started their generator which was very loud so we left for an impromptu day-trip. Overall, great condo. Would definitely come again.

Great Neighborhood

Kapalua is a great neighborhood! The Condo is very nice from the outside although a little hard to find our unit because the numbering system is small on each condo. The kitchen is updated. Plenty of space. The bathrooms are dated , late 1990’s style. Plenty of towels for bath and beach. I didn’t expect our unit to be a ground level unit. We still could see the ocean but I’d rather stay in a higher unit. I’ll have to look at the listing and see if it states “ground level”. We’d come back but only if the unit is on the 2nd level. You can hear people moving furniture above you.
