Family getaway

Great place to getaway from the norm and relax. Quiet location with lots of things to do. Lots of room for 6 adults, staff are all super friendly and helpful.

Relaxing Family Vacation

This resort is on the west side of the island has a nice walking path along the lagoons. It was much less crowded than other nearby resorts. The unit itself was really great with all the amenities that a family can enjoy. The pools and beach on the resort were perfect for us for the days when we wanted to just relax. Overall it was an amazing stay and we would definitely come back!.

2 Bedroom villa

Beautiful property. Beautiful rooms and views. We stayed here for 3 nights and then stayed at the Aulani for 3 nights. The Marriott is far superior at everything but kid enjoyment. It is hard to compete with the lazy river and water slides. The room was larger. The gym was bigger. The pool chairs are available. The grounds at the Marriott are more tropical and the lagoon is identical to the Aulani lagoon except that there are no crowds.

Beware the bait and switch

Booked a 2 bedroom Mountain View room for 3 nights at the tail end of our otherwise amazing hawaii vacation. Even though I booked 5 months out, the host didn’t book it until a month before our stay. This, according to the hotel, was the reason we had to switch rooms after the first night and why our second night room had a lovely view of the parking garage. Switching rooms is a huge pain when you have a toddler that needs a afternoon nap. Then the real kick in the face was coming back to our resort to find a 3rd floor room with a worthless balcony hanging off into the top level of the parking garage instead of the Mountain View as advertised. Literally just cars and concrete as our “view”. Resort did nothing, blamed the host. Lesson learned. Will not book timeshare condos without having pre assigned rooms.

We arrived at front desk @2pm. Room not ready until 3:55. No essentials in guess bath. TV in living room and Master bedroom, unable to operate. Remote instructions unclear. Yard guys making noise at 8 am in front of our unit, spoiling our last few hours.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Ko Olina. The resort was beautiful and the gardens on the grounds were lovely. The service was excellent! My 2.5 year old and her 2 year old cousin loved the kid friendly pools and very close beach access. I would stay again.

Resort is nice, just not these owners.

We booked for 5 nights, and "Resort Rental Pros" made us 2 hotel reservations - one for 3 nights, and another for 2 nights. When I pointed this out, they lied about it repeatedly, and then stopped communicating. So, halfway through our trip, we had to move buildings. Of course, check out is at 10am and check in is at 4pm, so for 6 hours we just had to leave our bags at the front desk. The staff was very friendly, the property is great, but do yourself a favor, and do NOT use "Resort Rental Pros".
