Unforgettable time !

We had an amazing time staying at Ingrid’s place! The home was spotless and incredibly well-maintained — cleanliness was clearly a top priority. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming, just like home.Ingrid was a fantastic host — responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. The pictures dont begin show how beautiful the locations is. We enjoyed the sunsets every evening while listening to the waves. Conveniently locationed to the sighs. We could even walk to several restaurants and shops.. a lagoon was within walking distance too. In the morning when the tide was out we went tide pooling. Even saw turtles. The sand is beautiful with trees to sit under too..Ingrid was so kind and inviting. My 8 year old felt like she was his grandma. Frequently hed go visit her and her dog. Thank you again Ingrid.

Home away from home in paradise

Our stay at this VRBO was truly a home away from home in paradise! The location was perfect, tucked away from the city's hustle and bustle in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The house had everything we needed, including towels, a collapsible cooler, ice packs, and handy hygiene items left by previous guests. The garage, stocked full of beach items courtesy of Ingrid, was a wonderful surprise! We had access to beach chairs, umbrellas, floaties for the kids, a wagon, and more, making our beach trips effortless and fun. Ingrid, our host, was simply amazing. She was so nice and accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed. It felt like having a family member nearby, ready to assist whenever necessary. During our stay, we had car troubles, and Ingrid helped us out tremendously. Our van had a flat tire, and we had a wedding to get to within the next hour and a half. Since the home is in a gated community, we needed someone to open the gate for the tow truck and give them the key to the rental vehicle. Ingrid and her friend jumped to the rescue and offered to watch for the tow truck and provide the necessary information while we were out. Without their help, I didn't know what we would have done. We cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, clean getaway with a fantastic host, this is the place to be! Thank you, Ingrid, for making our stay so wonderful. We can't wait to return!

Wonderful vacation home

We didn’t regret our booking. The host Ingrid, who lives in the same house, was very kind, even before we arrived. She called us and made sure we know everything about our soon to be vacation home. During the stay, she was always available, very helpful and generous. The condo is spacious and has everything a family needs for a great vacation time. We felt very comfortable and didn’t miss a thing. Location-wise this place is perfect. The nearby lagoons are perfect for the kids and you can walk to all of them. Ingrid offers all kinds of beach supplies (chairs, mats, snorkeling tools, a wagon to transport everything, body boards, you name it). The distance to Honolulu and other places is from half an hour to an hour depending on traffic. The property is secured by a gate and you will have your own parking lot. Nearby you will find an ABC store, Starbucks, icecream place and restaurants. The area is pricey, but so is all of Oahu. We enjoyed the sunsets from our balcony or the lagoons, if we were home around that time. Definitely a wonderful place and we can highly recommend it.

Amazing location

I almost want to keep unit as our secret so it'll be available anytime we visit Oahu. We stayed for 2 weeks with our 3 sons. Ingrid met us at the gate and escorted us into the unit to ensure we were satisfied. She had bottled water in the fridge and coffee for us which was so sweet. The location of this unit was perfect and the unit was exactly as described. Its also fully stocked with enough beach towels, paper towel, toilet paper, spices, plates, water toys, coolers, wagons for all your beach stuff. Plus, my sons used the garage to work out in every other day. We enjoyed the sunset almost every night right from the balcony or a short 2 minute walk to the beach. Literally 2 minutes away. Plus, theres a secret beach nearby that takes you only 3 minutes to get to for swimming or snorkeling. If you want something bigger than about a 6 minute walk right to the first of many larger beaches in Ko'Olina. It was perfection for our stay. Big plus, you really dont need to go far for dinning, grocery or shopping. Costco was a 7 minute drive. The unit is near disney, or wet n wild if you want a break from the beach. We spent a few days in between beach days at the pool which is right by the unit. Oh and ladies - it has great hot water with excellent water pressure. Overall we had a fantastic time. The description doesnt do this unit justice and the hosts were the sweetest we've come across. If I lived in Oahu, I would just visit them, just because. -Mahalo

Relaxing, quiet condo with excellent views

Ingrid is a wonderful host. Easy access to Ko O'lina resort beaches at the lagoons. Gorgeous view from our balcony. High end appliances including washer and dryer in the unit. Fully equipped kitchen. Large Master bathroom and bedroom with lots of storage space for our clothes and luggage. There are lots of towels, beach towels and extra pillows and linens if needed. We felt so comfortable here. Free parking and secure location. Ingrid provides all beach necessities including boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers and a cart. She treated us like part of her family. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the condo, close to everything on the west side of island. Walking distance to the lagoons, restraunts and shops. Ingred and Wolfgang were awesome hosts. Everything we needed was there to used, detergent, paper towels, TP, dish soap! We loved being there!

Our Happy Place

We are frequent visitors to Oahu and absolutely loved our stay at Ingrid’s beautiful condo. The condo has a breathtaking ocean view. Each evening my husband and I enjoyed watching the spectacular ocean sunsets from the condo’s lani. Ingrid and Wolfgang are terrific hosts and they keep you well informed. They treat you like Ohana and you fall in love with Bogart and Cocoa (their dog and cat). Kai Lani is a very friendly community and it is within walking distance to the beaches, shopping and excellent restaurants. If you have a car rental, they provide a parking space for you. The condo is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with all the comforts of home. We made trips to Costco to buy gas and food. Also Safeway was a good place for groceries. It is about a 10 minute drive to Kapolei from Ko Olina. If you like local cuisine then a trip to Zippy’s in Kapolei should go on your agenda. We also enjoy eating at the Monkey Pod and Longhi which is walking distance from the condo. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo for your visit to Hawaii. It is definitely our happy place!

Perfect in Every way

Our Return to Oahu was made absolutely perfect with all that Ingrid and Wolfgang had included in this property. Ingrid is a fantastic host and Bogart made us feel like Ohana. The view was stunning. Best in Kai Lani Complex (Oahu)

We were able to reserve this condo for the month of November and really enjoyed our stay. There are so many positives. Here are a few: the view of the ocean; the sunsets; the hospitality of the owner who lives in the same quadplex. Owner was quick to address any issues we had - that is a great plus. All the beach equipment we needed. Got advice on a great restaurant; and so many more. We’re able to walk to shops and eateries. Great walking paths along the beach. Premier golf course (Ko Olina Golf Club). Love the location - away from the busyness of Waikiki, but close enough for shopping and dinner. Oahu is our favorite island as there is so much to do.

Ocean Sunsets & Kiawe Trees

This property is wonderful. The lanai was our favorite early morning spot ... coffee, fabulous ocean view, moonsets, several bird species on the lush lawn below ... lovely way to begin every day. But the best treat yet, winding down the day ... killer Sunsets each & every evening ... from our lanai, or a short walk across the yard to the line of Kiawe trees above the water (to eat bento w/ family & watch the Nature's show) ... both, the Lone Kiawe & the grove lineup of Kiawe, make gorgeous Sunset Silhouettes ... perfect closing to each day. The condo is roomy & well equipped; bedrooms are spacious & comfortable. We commented that the interior looked just like the photos on website. Shops, restaurants, hotels are within easy walking distance, or a very quick trip in the car. Ingrid is a delightful & gracious hostess, fun and interesting too. She is a wonder with her landscaping & has lovely flower plantings. This is a sweet oasis. She also has beach accessories to use. Pretty much whatever you need. We would stay again, as well as recommend it to others wanting a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing experience. Deb 9/7-9/22/2021

Best condo in Ko Olina!

Ingrid goes above and beyond for her guests. We had an amazing month long stay at her condo. This unit is in the perfect location for sunset views every night without having to leave the balcony and is away from the road noise. One of our favorite activities was the five minute walk to the nearby lagoon where we swam and snorkeled with sea turtles and many different types of fish. The condo was well stocked for cooking meals which we did daily.

Loved everything about Ingrid’s place.

The VRBO pictures do not do any justice. From the moment we walked in, it was bright, clean and felt like home. Loved having a kitchen which had everything we needed. The views were amazing and the beaches weren’t crowded at all. We will definitely be going back. Ingrid and Wolfgang were very welcoming and accommodating.

Wonderful time

Ingrid has everything you need! Kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, rice cooker, blender, etc. All beach towels, chairs and equipment were also available. Felt like home. Beautiful sunsets on the deck and close to the ocean!

Amazing place!

This place was so sweet, had a great location, awesome view (sunset on the lanai!), proximity to beaches (a monk seal pupped right nearby), and pretty much everything you need for a beach vacation. The owners live right downstairs and were around if we had any questions. The only hiccup we had was around the communication about how to check-in, and fortunately we just showed up at the place and the owner was waiting for us to let us in and show us around. Wolfgang was kind and gracious and generally a lovely host. I would definitely come here again and recommend you check out this spot.

A perfect stay!

Ingrid’s condo was an absolute gem. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and enjoyed our stay here immensely. The location is great. Walkable to some nearby lagoons where we saw turtles and fish. There are several places to eat that are close by as well. The condo is clean, well stocked, and well maintained. She also has assorted beach gear available to use (e.g. snorkel gear, beach chairs and mats, umbrella). It was such a comfortable stay and we were sorry to leave. She was always easy to reach with any questions. Highly recommend!!!

Best vacation location on Oahu!!

Our family had an amazing vacation renting Ingrid's home. The location was one of the best things. The ocean is steps away. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Every night the sunset reminds you of why you love Hawaii. Ingrid provides all that you could want at your vacation rental. The decor is above par along with a high comfort factor. We felt her home was our home. Literally, we could have just brought our toothbrushes. It was very hard to leave. On this vacation we found our home away from home! Thank you Ingrid for caring so much about us! We will be back!
