“Fabulous three nights spent at this gem of a guest house. Steve and Elaine were perfect hosts, going above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice, room and bathroom were as good as they could be. Comfortable bed and powerful shower (always a must in my book) were spot on. Parking available for a decent price. The Arthington is a winner in Blackpool and fully deserves all its plaudits.”

“The hotel was really lovely compared to others in the area. We walked to the tower from our hotel it took 40 mins. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We could see the sea from our room, the pleasure park backed on to the back of the hotel it was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely for £19 per person I would recommend this hotel for your stay. The tram is across the main road to the left To get to the tower they only take card payment.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here. Linda and Tony have a rare gem of a place with The Scarla. Linda has personally styled the place with a unique blend of art deco vs modern and it works superbly. We could not fault any part of our stay, from the gorgeous room, comfy bed, tasty food but most important, what truly makes The Scarla a true gem, is Tony and Linda. They are the most welcoming, friendliest couple. You can see how much they enjoy meeting their guest, chatting with everyone at breakfast……

“We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it. The room was spotlessly clean, warm, and incredibly comfortable — we felt at home straight away. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around, and the owner was very attentive and welcomin. The only difficulty for us was that food isn’t permitted in the rooms, which unfortunately wasn’t stated on the booking site when we made our reservation. As our son has special dietary requirements, this made things a little challenging……

“Nice and warm room for the night, a little small but that was for the cheapest room so only to be expected. And I'm a giant, if you're normal sized you'll be fine :-) Always nice to visit a proper hotel with reception, bar / restaurant staff etc rather than some converted terrace. Top brekky too.”

“Hotel states breakfast available but it wasnt”

“We had Room 16 this time. A Family Room with a modern shower room. Very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice but as I'm Vegetarian, hot option is a bit limited would have liked Mushrooms, but kmow they are not everyones favourite. Stayed for 2 nights but was a bit disappointed, with the room make up we got fresh towels, but bed wasnt made and tea/ coffee not replenished. There was a tear on the side of the duvet vover but overall a grwat stay. Preferred the singer xalled Red on the……

“We had a brilliant two nights. Room was clean and spotless. To be sincere and truthful, maybe a little paint touching up, a bit of wallpaper coming away from wall, but did not spoil our stay. Its not the Hilton, but service was better. Comfortable bed, loads of toiletries, teat, coffee, biscuits, etc. Yvonne & her son made us very very welcome and we will be back.”
