This hotel is a hidden gem with helpful and friendly staff. Feels like a b&b with cooked breakfast, games area for adults and kids. The staff went above and beyond - helping us with transport to our next destination, making calls (in Japanese) and driving us to our shuttle connection. Rooms were comfortable and warm. It’s about 10mins from the town centre but they do offer pick up and drop offs from the train, and it makes it quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Wonderful hotel with a delightful owner and manager. Warm and cozy bar-restaurant with great full-course meals, a nice deck to soak in the sun, and walkable (20 min) to the terrace and forest reserve. Beautiful location in autumn.

Homey British hotel.

Chris is a very friendly and funny guy. Great atmosphere and giving a great welcome feeling. Full of stories and jokes! Good homey British food - dinner and breakfast. His home smoked salmon got full marks! Huge room, very clean and quiet. Highly recommended for Japanese and gaijin travellers.

The hotel/guesthouse is quite some distance from the central parts of Karuizawa. You would definitely need a car if staying here. Whilst newly renovated, the property feels like a poorly designed mixture of English and Japanese concepts that don’t really work well together. I’m confident there are better value for money options in Karuizawa.

舒服難忘的輕井澤住宿

服務親切，還有電動腳踏車可租借。距離榆樹街小鎮不遠，環境清幽。房間寬敞，插座足夠，早餐好吃，還有迎賓茶，很推薦。茶几電視處的燈光再足夠些就更好了。

2024年11月の紅葉シーズンに訪れました。こじんまりとしてアットホームなおすすめの宿です。 スタッフもお客さんも日本と外国の方が半々で リビングでは日本語英語混ぜこぜて楽しい会話が聞こえてきます。 接客がとてもフランクで感じ良く、いつの間にかつられてこちらもリラックス。得意ではないけれど、英会話をちょっと楽しんでみたいな、と思う人には嬉しいです。 2013年にできたホテルで新しくはないですが、随所にイギリスのテイストが感じられ内装はとてもセンスがよく、各部屋で壁紙や調度品が違っていて、他のお部屋も素敵でした。 お食事は2泊とも朝食とディナーをいただきました。朝食はイングリッシュブレックファーストとお魚料理の2種類。 ディナーは一泊目ビーフ2泊目フィッシュ&チップスをいただきました。 自家製のウィンナー、ベーコン、豚肉のリエット、（オーナー曰く）世界一美味しいトマト、など美味しかったです。 コーヒーは濃いめでマグカップにたっぷり。 パンは普通でしたが、手作り感のあるお食事は満足でした。 お酒が好きな方はバーで楽しめると思います。 ピアノも自由に演奏できますよ。 近くの駅まで迎えにきてくれるのと、近所の観光地なども時間が許せばスタッフが快く送迎してくれます。 また訪れたいなと思うお宿でした。

スタッフの皆さんが、明るくてとても親切でした。 ホテル全体が異国情緒に溢れていて良かったです。 アメニティは基礎化粧品以外の歯ブラシ、カミソリ、コットン、ブラシ、ゴシゴシタオル等一通り揃っていました。 是非また訪れたいです。
