The hotel room is very spacious and sparkling clean! We love the view from the onsen and balcony which is exceptionally beautiful. The food and wine served at the French restaurant is of Michelin standard. All staff members are very friendly and polite! We felt pampered during our stay!

High end hotel that caters to Japanese guests. Great service. Nice property. But, no English language staff. No concierge. After telling me they don’t have a concierge, they told me via an electronic translator that no one could give me any guidance on train transportation. The facility does not have a gym which I find odd given that it is a very expensive, luxury property. For those that eat at the hotel — which is what we did given that nearby options are limited — there is what they called a “french” or “Italian” restaurant. In reality, both restaurants are fixed menu Japanese fine dining with either a French or Italian flare. I stayed in a suite with an Onsen which was very nice. So, in sum, it’s a very nice hotel with great service. For the price though, I expected more. Bottom line, if you are not a Japanese speaker, you might consider other options.

First time for many to come

Usually you will only be disappointed if you have high expectation with the hotel before arrival, unfortunately, this is not the case. Everything is at the highest level: from car valet service to reception to the room itself plus privacy. You name it and it definitely makes every dime you have paid worth. It definitely deserves a perfect score at least for my stay :)

ヒラマツホテルは三件目です。全国制覇目指してますが、配慮が少し足りないかな？食事はとても美味しい！どのヒラマツホテルも最高でした！今回はアルコールだけ有料だったのですが、いつも無料でついてたので、有料がわかる様に説明されたが親切だと思います。 後はいつもながら最高でした！
