“I booked the La Mada Hotel as it was advertised as an airport hotel and decided being close to the airport was a good safe choice for my first four nights in Nairobi, Kenya. The hotel is 10 miles from the airport and their shuttle is $50 which I was not aware of. But once I was able to get an Uber, the cost was KSH1600 (about $14) which took me directly to the hotel. “I recommend this hotel as great value for money, with a nice restaurant, situated above a shopping center which makes everything so easy. The rooms are simple, comfortable, and clean. Staff is friendly and responsive. The only drawback is the noise from adjacent function hall that happens a couple of nights a week. ”
