「Property was maintained beautifully. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very clean and orderly house. House flies kept appearing, however. Lots of books and games to entertain you. Fully equipped kitchen is a plus. Easy access to Thomas and Davis by car, or Thomas by foot path.The furnace fan motor was so loud the floor vibrated. Eventually noise disappeared. Internet router lost connectivity daily. I texted owner; no reply. Router looks old. Hauling out trash at end of stay was not...

「Property was spectacular, the view was impressive. Everything you need in a home away from home, the area is filled with nature! Many hikes and exploring then back to the house to relax and take in the awesome view. Short ride to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley state parks. Very comfortable accommodations, we travel with our pups at least 2-3 times a year somewhere different and always stay at a VRBO home, this home was o e of the very best!」

「Great set up for a small house. Extra enclosed porch on back , beside hot tub. Only problem was, the hot tub would only heat to 99. Not really hot, but beautiful wooded setting. Don't let the road scare you. Pup loved the river walk and being off leash the whole time, since it is a secluded spot. 」

「We had a nice stay at The Fox Den! It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a short drive to lots of points of interest. We enjoyed trying out area restaurants and walking through the towns of Davis and Thomas and Blackwater State Park.」
