Average hotel with limited car parking and difficulty accessing the walkway to the rooms due to a tree in the way. Also our room key didn't work and as there is no one on site after hours we had to phone someone to help us. A party was in a venue immediately next door as well. No eating premises on site. Not a great stay.

The premises could do with a bit of love and care. The loud bar next door was initially disconcerting, but it was quiet by 4pm and all night. Good facilities in the room. Well located. A pity the smokers aren't banished to a point where they are not sharing their smoke with all the rooms. Could not open the windows due to that. Basically a satisfactory stay, good for the price.

It's a dated property which has light bulbs and the extractor fan not working. The promotional image of the room is a bit misleading. There are heaps of other options in Katherine to look at instead.

Booked for a work trip. I think the pictures online were a little misleading as my room was very basic. Having said that, immaculately clean. I didn’t use the pool, but secure parking was a benefit. Check location when booking as right in the centre of Katherine. If you’re looking for something quieter then maybe look a bit further out. Overall, for one night it was ok. Do remember to check your emails though as no staff on reception and complete check in/out is via a code and safe box on entrance.

The cleanliness of the room was ok but the air conditioning was placed in the worst location in the room possible, right at the back with the bed being behind a thick wall that ran the length of the bed. AC also didn’t work very well so wasn’t a comfortable night sleep. Pool was ok but BBQ area was pretty dirty with obvious food leftovers on the grills and ants covering everything.

For what it is, it’s good value. I was very worried about my car getting vandalised or broken in to as I had been told bad things about Katherine. Stayed here over rodeo weekend. Great pressure hot water in shower. Tea and coffee provided. Beds were clean and comfortable. TV didn’t seem to work but I have found that to be the case with every TV at every hotel / place of accommodation that I have stayed at between Mt Isa and Darwin. So this is not a dealbreaker for me. My room swipe card didn’t work on the first night, I rang the man at the front office and he rekeyed it for me. Pool looked inviting but I didn’t have time to go in it. Have stayed in other places in Katherine and whilst they are all really similar and dealing with a lot of social issues caused by local people, this would have to be the best place to stay in town. There are other places that might have high ratings but they are further out and will cost you more to stay there. If you’re after a clean bed and a decent hot shower of an evening, I highly suggest this place. Check in was easy. Big secure steel door to enter the hotel. I felt safe here which is very important to me as a female traveller alone.

Do not stay there, limited parking which means you park out on street at your own risk, no one on site - not a good idea, noisy next to pub. Did not feel comfortable with the area at all and did not stay, lost our money, but was not comfortable staying there.
