What can I say? We simply loved this villa, the views, the sunsets, wow! It really is beautifully located, well equipped to a high standard with all you will need, and super comfortable. it is even better than the photos suggest, so much so that it was with reluctance that we went out to visit the rest of the island. The pool is great - deep, clean and with a view across the sea to the distant islands. The sea was a little choppy at times but it is still possible to find sheltered parts of the bay for nice snorkelling or swimming.To cap it off, Sofia is also such a lovely, kind and communicative host! 10/10

Absolutely Amazing!!

We had the most fantastic stay at Sofia's villa on Kea. The views were epic, the villa was clean and comfortable for our family of four and Kea was a treasure. Sofia met us at the ferry and guided us to the villa the day we arrived and introduced us to the villa. She is the perfect hostess and had thought of everything needed to make our visit a fantastic one! The villa has a private cove with great swimming and is close to the local port which has grocery stores and restaurants. And the sunsets might have been the most amazing I have ever seen. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer! Thank you Sofia!!

A Perfect Stay in Paradise!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet, restful place to stay at the end of a busy vacation in Greece. I randomly picked Kea Island because of its proximity to Greece's mainland so we could ferry over. There were lots of properties offered online, but we kept coming back to this one and we are SO glad. Firstly, my interaction with the owner, Sofia, drew me because of her friendliness and offers of help and information. Secondly, the other reviews and then the photos decided us. Booking something sight unseen in a country you've never visited is a bit scary. We arrived via Ferry (from Lavrio) at night, and Sofia and her friend picked us up at the port at Kea. It was like meeting long lost friends! They went with us to the car rental (right by the ferry) and facilitated that, then led us in her car to the house. It was dirt roads and we couldn't see anything until the next day but the roads are up high hills with stunning views of the sea. When we got to the house, we were simply speechless. The house itself has literally everything a relaxing vacation requires. The outdoor space has room for a huge gathering, with outdoor fireplace, lots of chaises, gorgeous pool (altho October was a bit chilly for swimming, my intrepid hubby swam every day). The house is 3 levels, we didn't use the bottom floor except to do laundry but it has a king and BA. The main floor has 2 sitting areas with spacious seating, 2 tvs (Netflix!), a kitchen with appliances, full bath. The kitchen is stocked with spices, supplies for cooking. Sofia had even made dinner and bought groceries! So we didn't have to leave the first day! Upstairs there is a king bedroom with balcony and room with twins, and full BA. We found the decor lovely with special touches everywhere. Sofia even has supplies like candles, first aid, toothbrushes, bug spray, books, maps. The first morning when we woke up it was like Christmas. The view took our breath away. And it was so quiet except for the sea crashing way below at the bottom of the hill. We went to the small private beach which is down in a little cove and is used exclusively by guests staying in Sofia's properties. My husband snorkeled in the beautiful cold water. We explored the island and drove to beaches, the capital up on the mountain, but we were always anxious to get "home" to our house by the sea. The day we left we were so sad. Sofia came to hug us and we vowed to return. We want to bring our friends and family!

Lovely villa- the pictures don't do it justice!

We had a fabulous stay at Sofia's villa in Melissaki! The pictures do not do this place justice- the view is just epic. Very comfortable beds/bedding, perfect sleeping arrangement for our family of 5 (one bdrm is on the basement level, 2 on the 2nd floor). The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for meals at home- including 2 dinners served on the gorgeous patio overlooking the Aegean Sea! In addition to the pool, there was the most gorgeous cove a 2 minute walk from the villa- one of our most favorite memories of our 5 day visit was swimming in that beautiful cove. The location was perfect- about a 10-15 min drive from Kea Port (restaurants, bakery, market). From the villa, we had daily adventures around the island (Sofia provided a great list of outings and we hit most of them). We loved visiting Loulis (capital village), Karthea (great hike down to ruins, beautiful beach), Otzia and Spathi. Many thanks to Sofia for making our stay so special and being so responsive to our questions. We hope to return to Kea someday.

FANTASTIC!!!

..We spent the first two weeks of August in this beautiful house. From the terrace you have a fantastic view of the waving sea, you can hear the sound of the sea, everything smells of dry grass, herbs and salt... it is a place where you can relax. The house is exceptionally neat and very clean and Sofia is a wonderful, warm hostess who has thought of everything when preparing the house for guests. You can find oil, spices, water, bread (for the first day), honey, aluminum foil and much more and if you forgot your toothbrush, tampons or sunscreen this will also be waiting for you. In addition, Sofia responds immediately to messages and always answers the phone- providing advice. This is the first such well-kept house and the first housekeeper who has thought of everything. Sofia, thank you very much for such a warm welcome and we strongly hug you:)

Dream - house in a perfect location!

We spent our family vacation at this wonderful place, which was one of the nicest holiday homes we booked so far. The house is even nicer than the pictures can show. It lays in a quiet private location, the sea view is stunning, you just can´t get enough of it when laying in the relax beds at the pool area. It also has a wonderful private little bay, reached by foot in less than 5 min., great for snorkeling and swimming, secured from winds. The house has everything you need, has very good, relaxing beds, and is generously equipped with dishes and appliances (Espresso machine :-)). Sofia is a great host, has arranged some of our travel needs for taxis e.g. and has prepared the house with fruits and welcome food. She was available for any questions arising instantly. Last but not least, Kea was a new discovery for us: It bears a nice and friendly Greek island atmosphere with great taverns, good food and somehow just the right amount of tourism! Thanks so much, Sofia!

Stunning location, gorgeous home!

We had a wonderful stay in Kea in this beautiful home. The views (especially at sunset) we will remember for a lifetime. Kea is a great place to visit with so many beaches, the lovely town of Ioulida (with dramatic views) and super restaurants. Snorkelling in the clear water was fantastic! This is not Greece for the tourists but Greece at its best. Would advise renting a 4x4 if you want to drive to all the locations in the island as some roads are difficult. The house was gorgeous (finished to high specification and beautifully decorated) and Sofia made us so welcome. Thank you again Sofia!!
