“The room was very welcoming: when we arrived, there was a box of chocolate-covered macadamia nuts, and the TV was playing Hawaiian tunes! “This is a great spot. We had two couples and two toddlers and it worked well. Space isn’t super friendly for toddlers but it was ok. It’s a short walk to the beach so we rented a beach wagon and that was super helpful with the little kiddos.The house has good AC units and comfy beds and an outdoor shower around the back of the houseGPS kind of leads you to the wrong driveway so you just gotta drive up the street a little bit and enter from the little cul de sac.Definitely would stay here again!”

Several days strangers set up lawn chairs in front of our view on the grass and every sunrise there was a pack of noisy people standing out on the grassy area to right (residents in units without views?). "Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
