"Lovely cosy cottage with gorgeous views. Owner was really friendly checking we’d settled in ok. Great location (as long as you have car) to get to nearby towns and attractions. Shame there wasn’t a pub within walking distance (as the road was too risky to walk on at night), however, the food and staff at the local pub in Yetholm (approx 1.5mile) were lovely and welcoming and food great! The only criticism I’d have of the cottage is that the bathroom and some decor could do with updating, however...

"We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property."

"We asked that a different email be used on 9/4 as i no longer have access to the email used. No acknowledgment of this was received. Again we asked on 9/22, the day before our checkin, that you use our new email provided. Absolutely no response to our request, no one responded to our request or answer the "emergency" no. We received the passcode by text, and a response TO that text went unanswered as well. Extremely disappointed. Will not use Vrbo again."

"We loved our stay at The Yair. We booked it for its proximity to the river Tweed for fly fishing and found that the river runs past the property; complete with fishing hut and a gillie! The property’s owner was great in his communication and was available for anything we needed. It was fascinating to learn from him about the history of the property. Our cottage was beautiful and the hot tub was a nice addition. We would stay here again, independent of fishing."

"Absolutely love everything about this property! Honestly could have used the entire week just roaming around the gorgeous estate grounds . And that walled garden!?! Just a dream😍 The Fall colors were breathtaking! Super comfy bed! Cozy kitchen and living area. Great shower! Everything you need! Loved the lemon drizzle bread made by Hannah and Ollie was so kind to come and rescue us when we locked ourselves out. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"My wife and I spent a very pleasant week at Cygnet Cottage, using it as a base to explore the Northumberland Coast and local area.This particular accommodation is ideal for a couple. The living area is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen equipment all worked fine and there was an adequate supply of crockery, cutlery, and tools. "Nice, clean, well appointed room with kingsize bed. All staff were brilliant, happy, very helpful and responsive and their good teamwork was evident. The Wi-Fi worked well and the bar was well-stocked. Lovely surroundings and the field of Clydesdale horses in the neighbouring farm was delightful."
