“Worth it! Brilliant location. Feels like being directly out in nature, but all the amenities of home. Timeless memories of sitting on the front deck of our own log cabin in the woods taking in the sights, sounds and scents of the kenai bush. “If you’re headed to Seward this is the absolute best place to stay. I am absolutely in love with this quiet remote place. It is nicely tucked away in the middle of the woods. The owner Gary is usually in the office when you enter. He is warm, informative and extremely pleasant to deal with. He had two assistants that were equally as pleasant and helpful. The cabins were well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The place was safe, well kept and just a dream get away for anyone……

“The wall of windows in the well appointed and beautiful cabin afforded a very scenic view of Kachemak Bay and the Spit from up high. All the amenities for a comfortable stay for two. Little extras that make you feel welcome. Qiet, peaceful. We used the deck chairs and table to enjoy the solitude and scenery. Beautiful slice of Alaska! Highly recommend. “Our family had a great stay at this rustic homestead outside of Homer. A bit hard to get to but once you're there, you won't want to leave! The cabin itself was spacious and clean, well-equipped kitchen, washer-dryer, everything we needed. The views were nothing short of stunning! The pics don't do it justice. And the local wildlife! A mama moose and her two babies came by one morning, along with a family of sandhill cranes and a large porcupine. Just an incredible experience for our first time……
