Family vacation

It was absolutely perfect for our family of 7! We were able to all be together for meals and a couple rounds of card games but also able to have our own space if we needed. The location was great- just a couple minute drive to the beach and kennebunkport shops and we were even able to work in a drive to Salem for the day! We enjoyed our stay very much!

Friends weekend in Maine!

We had a great weekend up in Kennebunkport with friends. Plenty of space, kid friendly, clean and comfortable. We’ll be back!

Graduation weekend

We rented the house for our daughter’s graduation. The house is beautiful, very well decorated, clean and everything you would need when away from home! I would definitely stay here again! We hated to leave!

Fantastic location and lovely house. Beds are hard as a board and no wine opener, tissues, large pitcher, napkins and large dress mirrors but despite those minor issues we loved “Just Beachy”.

Great house for a large group

As a party of eight, we were all impressed with how much room we had. Everything was very clean when we arrived! Comfy, firm beds! Nice patio area, deck and fire pit. Close to the beach and Kennebunkport! We were sad when our weekend came to an end!!

family of 6 mini vacation

overall we had a nice time. the house comes with a full size crib not a pack n play as listed. the house had plenty of room for all of us but with small children it did fall a little short on cleanliness (couch covers etc) the firewood was a nice touch to be able to have a backyard bonfire!

Spacious updated and CLEAN home.

The house is roomy with convenient bathrooms on each level. Close to hiking, beach, restaurants and shopping. Everything in the house worked as it should. Highly recommend this home!

Very neat, clean and spacious home. We liked the close proximity to beach, hiking and shopping. We highly recommend this VRBO!Couple minor suggestions: Provide trash bags for under sink trash can. Install garbage disposal in kitchen sink. Have some basic tools available...we had to adjust the latch on main floor bathroom, used a kitchen knife but a screw driver would have been better.

Many things to improve on

What we COULD have loved is if the house were clean and everything was in working order upon arrival. It shows very lovely and is a nice home but attention to detail is majorly lacking.

Comfortable and spacious home

Very spacious comfortable home on a large property. The home has everything you will need. Being from the western dry part of the country we don't know if all homes in the east have an unusual musty odor to them or it was just this home. The home is located on a very busy street with heavy vehicle use so if you are noise sensitive it is something to consider. The cleaning crew should spend a little more time and pay closer attention to details. We found potato chips on the kitchen floor, a hairpin on the family room floor, and a pair of socks between the sheets of 2 of the beds. Overall though we enjoyed our stay.

Wish it worked out better.

As soon as we walked in we got a big whiff of mold. It was cute enough but we couldn’t get past the smell. Some couldn’t even be in the house. The main floor and basement were the worst. After looking around we found a bunch of mold in the basement garage area and that seemed to be the main source. The company, however, was great to work with and they relocated us after checking in to see if the house was in good clean condition upon arrival. They were able to find us somewhere to stay within a reasonable distance and we were able to move on with our vacation. They sent an email to me after saying they were closing the house to remedy the issue so hopefully it’s been taken care of.

Great location, a couple issues

The location was great - quiet street, close to town, walk to the beach. However, when we arrived, there was an alarm going off somewhere in the house. I tried to call the help line but was told the wait was too long and to stay on the line. In the meantime I went to find the alarm and I was a carbon monoxide detector in the living room. The battery was low and the outlet it was plugged into had been turned off. Unplugged it and took the battery out, problem solved. The cell reception at the house is terrible and the internet was unreliable. We had to reset the router twice and even then it would drop out on occasion. Again tried to call and was told the wait times were too long and was put on hold (during which my phone dropped the call). Finally, upon checkout we went to bring out the trash and recycling to find both bins full. I clicked the link to check out (from the text I received) and it brought me back to the Vacasa homepage with no confirmation of checkout. Nice home, terrible service. I will not be using Vacasa again.

Wonderful home

Great place for a girls' getaway

The house was super clean and spacious, with comfortable beds, good linens, newer appliances and nice furniture and finishes. We didn't do any cooking so can't comment on whether or not the kitchen was well equipped. It is a lovely home in a great location.
