Everything you need and very comfortable!

We decided to make a last minute trip to Maine and stayed here for two nights. The hosts, Russ and Kathy are wonderful. We enjoyed talking with them and they were very considerate, making sure we had everything we needed. As other reviewers have commented, the blueberry muffins were the best way to start the morning off right! They were a delicious homemade treat. The apartment is cozy, clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The property is located about a mile from the town, so we were able to walk into Dock Square and to different restaurants. We look forward to being able to stay here again.

Quaint, beautiful and spacious one bedroom apartment oasis

First, Russ and Kathy are such wonderful people. They really took the time to ensure we were taken care of and had a pleasurable stay. If you're lucky, you may get to try some of Russ's famous blueberry muffins which are a must! About the property: the location is great. If you have a car, you're within minutes to the hustle and bustle of downtown Kennebunkport, and also a stones throw away from other restaurants in Kennebunk if you need a respite from the crowds. The location is tucked away on a quiet street and really gives you a sense of serenity. The apartment is very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Even though we had the full apartment to ourselves, the master suite was so inviting and wonderful that we ended up spending most of our time in there! If you're heading to the area, you will not be disappointed if you choose this property for your stay -- well worth it!

Calm oasis steps away from the hustle & bustle of Kennebunk

Hands down one of the best stays I've ever experienced!

Russ and Kathy's home is absolutely stunning. The guest suite area is tranquil, peaceful, and very clean. The bed was massive and super comfortable with 5-star hotel quality bedding and the room is beautifully decorated creating a beach cottage type of vibe. As a guest you have your own room and shower with great views of surrounding wooded areas, I was able to open the windows and hear the birds chirp which was relaxing. Russ and Kathy are super friendly and were there to greet me upon arrival and extended happy hour cocktails which were amazing but not quite as amazing as Russ's blueberry muffins! I would highly recommend this place and will be back again!

Lovely quiet suite in Kennebunk

We had a great stay at Russ & Kathy's in-law apartment. It was lovely and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Ceiling fans and AC made it nice and cool (we were there in July). It was so nice and quiet, great for sleeping. Russ and Kathy were great hosts, very available when we needed them, yet also totally allowing us our privacy. And yes the blueberry muffins were delicious! There was a container of them awaiting us in the sitting room when we arrived. There is also a sink area and a small refrigerator, which was great for storing drinks and snacks. I also liked that we were able to park right in the driveway. The apartment is a little over a mile from downtown Kennebunkport, which has loads of great shops and restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I hope we can return sometime!

Immaculate, Comfortable Stay with Hospitable Hosts

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Russ and Kathy were extremely friendly and welcoming, offering suggestions of places to eat and even preparing delicious blueberry muffins for our arrival. The apartment was spacious, immaculately clean, and well furnished. All details were thought out by the hosts - down to root beer, water and coffee creamer in the fridge (not to mention all the bathroom amenities you'd need). Located on a quiet street but close enough to everything we wanted to see and do, this was a prime location. I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Clean and Comfortable

The apartment has a separate entrance so there was plenty of privacy. The apartment had everything we needed, small fridge, sink, a few dishes, wine opener, and extra water in the fridge. Owners were very hospitable. The bed was extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Muffins were wonderful too!

The best way to enjoy Kennebunk

We stayed here for a quick day of lobster meals on a long road trip vacation from New Hampshire to Texas. This room (which is really an attached suite) was the perfect location. After a morning of driving, it felt good to stretch our legs on the mile hike to town. There we enjoyed lobster rolls and local beer for lunch at Alisson's, the perfect place suggested by Russ. After enjoying the shops in town we followed up with a whole steamed lobster that was incredible. We walked "home" in the dark - it's a safe nice neighborhood. That night we slept great in a really comfortable bed - wish I had looked to see what brand the mattress was. My only regret is that we only had one day here. We would definitely stay here again and suggest this place to friends. The blueberry muffins and freshly percolated coffee (with real half-and-half) were the perfect way to start the next long day of driving. Thanks Russ and Kathy for a nice room and wonderful hospitality.

Absolutely wonderful!!!

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay in Kennebunk and our hosts Russ & Kathy. They could not have been more accommodating and the rental unit was beautiful and immaculate. It truly felt like home away from home. Not only is the property well maintained and in a great location (within walking distance to Kennebunkport), but Russ bakes delicious blueberry muffins for his guests. Also, the bed is ridiculously comfortable! We will absolutely be staying at this rental again. You should too!

Super Comfy

My husband and I just spent the weekend with Russ and Kathy and will, without a doubt, return. Their suite is clean with ultra comfortable furnishings, quiet, private and roomy enough for two. Within a short walk of downtown with its great shops and restaurants. Beach is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. Oh, and did I mention the homemade blueberry muffins?! Wonderful stay!

We have stayed in many inns in the Kennebunkport area, and this one is the most comfortable and enjoyable, made even more so by the sincere and thoughtful hospitality of the owners, Russ & Kaye. We stayed for 1 week in October, 2008, while visiting family living in town. This will definetely be our first choice for our next visit. If you want peace & quiet, in great comfort, this is the place!
