Recently renovated (2023), pet-friendly cottage a short walk to Dock Square and the beach
The Sandpiper Cottage (renovated 2023) is a detached, private cottage with a queen bed, full bathroom, kitchen, sitting area, articulating TV, Wi-Fi, private patio, and reserved parking adjacent to the cottage. It is perfect for an extended stay and is pet-friendly, allowing one dog or cat (50 pound weight limit) at no fee. With a new mini-split, you can be comfortable in the hottest or coldest of Maine weather. The kitchen has a refrigerator and freezer, range, microwave, toaster, Keurig machine, kitchenware, and utensils. Due to space limitations in the inn's dining room, breakfast is not included when booking the Sandpiper Cottage. However, you will be provided with some bananas, yogurts, K-cups and bottled waters to get your vacation started. The Sandpiper Cottage is available for 3-night stays or longer. Standard check-in (3-6pm) and check-out (11am) times apply. Please check in and out at the main house or coordinate with the innkeeper.

Perfectly Located Oasis
My husband and I wanted to get to Maine for a few days before the busy season began. I was looking on VRBO and found The Harbor Inn's cottage. It was exactly what we were looking for. The cottage offers comfortable seating, a full kitchen, a queen bed and full bath. Our favorite spot was the private patio off the back side of the cottage. It was quaint and perfect. The Inn has bikes you can borrow to ride down into town, but we opted to walk. This cottage is ideally located. You can walk a few minutes north to a few shops, markets and restaurants, or south and hit downtown Kennebunkport. Beaches, shops and food are minutes away by foot, bike or vehicle.
Mike and his parents are hands on. They are there if you need them, or quietly off working around the property when you don't. They offer such a wonderful atmosphere; we will definitely return. They are amazing hosts that made the experience all the more enjoyable.
