"The Grooms Cottage was a rustic wonderful stay. It is in the country but really not far from shops. Having only 1 bathroom was a little difficult in the morning with 5 adults but they are working on an upstairs one, it just wasn't ready for our stay. I definitely would come back to the Grooms Cottage!"

"The appliances were dated, the dryer didn’t dry but the house was well stocked with dishes and necessities. We did have a few issues. The door to the patio wouldn’t lock and a bathroom sink drain was stuck. We reported the problems and they were not repaired before the end of the stay. We did have an enjoyable visit overall. The golf course and hotel were very beautiful and well maintained. We really liked the space and it worked out well for our group."

"Our host, Eva, was incredibly responsive to every inquiry. She also had excellent recommendations on local sights for our party. The kitchen came stocked with a few niceties such as bread, croissants, butter, jam, milk and juice. Beds were quite comfortable and we enjoyed resting while watching the sheep and listening to the birds. Perfect place to stay for our first two nights in Ireland!"

"There was no clear instructions on how to open the main door. The property manager gave us the wrong code for the room. There was a power outage during our stay and the place had no back up generator so along with no power, there was also no water. My partner was in the middle of washing his face when the water ran out. There’s also no air conditioning unit in the room so we had to open the window as it was too hot. We ended up only staying one night and booking another hotel."

"It was a beautiful home, the neighbor dogs were incredibly sweet. We enjoyed the pool table and the old stove. But It wasn’t easy to get anywhere with our large group,Ubers didn’t want to take the fare.There was no walking on the narrow road. When we did go to the closest town on a Monday, everything was closed for dinner except a pizza place and Brady’s (which we loved)for drinks. "Duleek was a great start to our UK adventure! We are a group of 3 couples celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary's. The Connell House was everything and more. The location was perfect, the pubs and restaurants Karla recommended were welcoming, delicious and fun!! We were able to enjoy St. Patrick's Day in Dublin with ease and make a trip to Cork to the Blarney Castle. Beds were comfortable, house is absolutely adorable, & the amenities were nice. Highly recommend!!"

"Mark the property manager was an absolute delight. He would help us with any questions we had. We checked in late to our house and he left his number for us to contact him. He even brought croissants and coffee to us the next morning. The only downside is that it is far away from stores and town. We had to taxi into Swords to catch a train or bus."
