Last minute booking with discount still a bit expensive for us. Great location and we had a great time in Keswick. Less than 4 mins walk to Booths and Keswick bus station. Car parking space provided and it was spot on!Bathroom ventilation could be improved. Vents in the main bedroom window needs fixing. Not possible to close the vents.Both bedrooms are overlooking into car parks so the blinds need to be closed all the time if you like your privacy. As a result no natural light in the bedrooms.Detail instructions of Xbox and dvd for players would be helpful.As a parent, I disliked the Xbox because it was harder to get my child off it but my child was very happy and gave 5 stars for it.Kitchen facilities - excellentWasher with dryer very useful.Please replace batteries in the torches.Dish washer tablets, towels, kitchen towel and toilet tissues, dish washing solution were provided, super and thank you. Please do provide washing machine tablets or powder if possible.Would we come back to the cottage - Maybe/Likely

Great little getaway

Could not have got a better location, 3 minutes walk from bus station, 6 minute walk from town centre, the property was spotlessly clean and comfortable and was well equiped , would have prefered a shower curtain instead of the glass shower screen though. Would definately stay again.

Lovely house. Very clean, well equipped, and very well placed for the local Booth's supermarket (only a 30 second walk) and Keswick itself. Plenty of crockery and cutlery, and pots and pans. The overhead shower is great. My only complaint is that the twin bedroom doesn't have any wardrobe or chest(s) of drawers; the only place for hanging clothes was the boiler room/airing cupboard. Loved this house in a very quiet location in Keswick but still only a few minutes walk to all amenities. Very well equipped and comfortable. Next time we are in Keswick we hope to book this same house for our holiday. Highly recommend.
