Friendly welcoming staff, pleasant en-suite room with balcony overlooking the river. Meals were very good too. Great location and free parking advice was provided. Would recommend and stay again.

Basic room but we had a balcony overlooking the river. We had a private room with our own bathroom. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Can't beat the location for the price.

Keswick is such a great town and so well located for hiking and playing in the Lakes. The YHA was lovely and so centrally located on the river by the park. Very well equipped with a great cafe too. My only complaint is that the bedroom doors shut noisily which means you wake with the early risers. All else was perfect

YHA Keswick

Blown away by the place. First time in YHA and we will return. Amazing facilities. Superb location. Beautiful views. Fantastic staff. Can’t rate it enough. We had a private room with shared shower and WC (also never done this before) and it was brilliant!

A very convenient location

Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Staff were very welcoming.Room was fine just a little warm so just left the widow open a little. Toilets & showers were clean. Kitchen was great. Breakfast was okay wouldve been better if the bacon / hash browns were warmer. Good for a hungry person as they give you more if you ask. Had very noisy neighbours but thats not the staffs fault just very thoughtless people that obviously thought they had the whole building to themselves.

A mixed-bag of a stay

A picturesque location, the YHA Keswick is situated near the town centre. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. A large bar serving food and drink, in excess of the self-catering facilities which has everything you need. Showers are modern and clean, and the room was large and comfortable. Breakfast proved value for money. No staff are in the hostel after 10 and I had to call the night manager out to try and identify a noisy neighbour, to no avail. Sits uneasy with me that no staff are at this property all night.

Great stay

Easy check in. Good Covid-19 policies in place. Room was clean and warm as were showers and toilets. Can't beat this place for the price and the location is great 2 minute walk into the centre of the lakes.
