    Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed

    Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity and bed linen included. Cot. . Small front courtyard with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 small car. Visit England 3 Star.. Situated in the heart of Braithwaite village, opposite the village shop and two minutes walk from the pubs and restaurants. Bridge cottage is suitable for walkers, families and pet owners seeking a comfortable base, with walks from the door and the benefit of amenities close at hand. The cottage enjoys a delightful setting overlooking the village beck, lovely fell views from the bedrooms and a cosy open fire for chilly winter evenings. Braithwaite is the starting point for several great fell walks, including Grisedale Pike and Causey Pike or if you are feeling really fit/adventurous the Coledale Horseshoe takes in several fells in one walk.

Great location in Braithwaite

Perfect location in the centre of the village, ideal for local walks and the pubs in the village. The shop was just opposite. Well equipped kitchen. Would stay again.

We had a great stay in bridge cottage it is a lovely location in a great village. Easy access to the surrounding hills, and within walking distance of Keswick. The cottage was clean and tidy though a little dated. The shower could have been better we struggled to get it to maintain temperature. All in all we had a great week staying at bridge cottage and would definitely return 😀

Braithwaite is a wonderful small village just outside Keswick and Bridge Cottage made the perfect cottage to explore this area of the Lakes. With walks from the doorstep, the village itself is a delight to walk around, with longer walks just minutes drive from the cottage. The cottage is right in the hub of the village without being noisy, being especially handy for the village store across the road. It has a well equipped, if a little quirkily laid out kitchen and utility room, with a spacious, comfortable sitting room and good sized bedrooms. We had a really enjoyable stay and look forward to coming back to stay when we can.

Enjoyable stay in the Lake Distric

A comfortable three bedded house, well equipped, suitable for us three adults and four dogs, well situated, with friendly local shop next door, especially the freshly baked bread. Three Muddlers pub providing tasty vegetarian food and real ales.
