Weekend stay in Keswick

We absolutely loved the property, very clean and comfortable. Great location for Keswick centre and for walking. We didn't use the car at all. The street is very quiet and we managed to park right outside the house. Will definitely stay at this property again.

The cottage is very well equipped with everything being relatively new and of good quality.

Otterbield is a lovely big house for a family.

Otterbield is a lovely big house for a family. It's a tiny bit further from the town and Derwentwater than some, but great value and really beautifully equipped and decorated. We couldn't fault it as a place to stay.

Washing machine instructions difficult-no obvious button to rinse/spin or just spin. Back patio door lock awkward to master-very easy to think you have locked it when you haven't! A window pole to open/close the 3rd floor front bedroom window would be helpful without having to use a chair to reach it. Otherwise brilliant.

Great stay in a lovely house.

Great stay in a lovely house. Really well equipped with everything you need for a great stay, great kitchen and lovely bedrooms. We were lucky with weather and also sat in the garden both morning and evening. The house is very close to the town and the surrounding walks in the area. We had a wonderful weekend and were not disappointed with the house.

We were the first guests in Otterbield.

We were the first guests in Otterbield. The house was clean, tastefully decorated, spacious, comfortable, very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We enjoyed making a log fire after a long hike & relaxing with a glass of wine.... Even had Net Flicks available ? The house is just a short walk about 5 mins into the centre of Keswick. Lots of traditional pubs & if you love Tapas try the “Square Orange “ or Bar ES The owners provided lots of walking information. We’ll definitely be back for more x
