「My partner and I stayed one night at this great place! After entering the main gate it was a little difficult to find but eventually we did. Parking is reasonable. The view from their main amenities area is fantastic. We did not use any of the amenities but it all seemed like a great offering. Very nice, easy access to the lagoon which is beautiful to experience. The room itself was just enough space for the 2 of us, with a very comfortable bed and great shower. 「We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were given a room that was on the first floor with a door out to the sun deck. We were quite tired and thought a nap would be good but no hope as we had the constant noise of the extractor fan from the kitchen going up the wall outside, even if we shut all the windows we heard it. I went back to reception and said we weren’t happy with the noise, we were offered another room but that opened onto the busy sitting area that people were having drinks at so...

「What a fantastic stay in Plettenberg Bay area. You should have seen my wife's smile when she saw the Garden View Deluxe Suite. The room was stunning! It was quiet. Very clean. Turn down service was very nice. Breakfast was very good with lots of selections on the buffet or off the menu that was included. The staff members are truly amazing. Very helpful. We especially enjoyed talking with our waiter at dinner who interested in our travels that day. I know we convinced him to go visit Monkeyland!...

「The Junction is a nice place to stay in Plett. The beds are comfortable, there is Aircon and the style is modern and new. The rooms are not very bright, so not the best place to hang in the day, but absolutely perfect as a nightly base, especially with the block-out curtains. The location is excellent right in the middle of town so you can walk anywhere. Right by Seakrit Spot and Market off Main which is very convenient. I’d stay here again for a short stay of a few nights. 」

「Beautifully appointed and magnificent views of an (almost) private beach. It’s a magical location. Be aware that access isn’t easy and it’s completely self catering, including breakfast. 」

The pool was much warmer than our last visit in September 2004! We found Hog Hollow had lost a little of its rustic charm and was more like a hotel. 」
