Great location

Short walk to the gondola, rentals, and restaurants. Clean, nicely appointed cabin. Would stay here again if we return to Keystone.

Really nice location- quick walk to restaurants at the ski base and near the pool. The pool was warm. The place was bigger than it looked in photos.

Beautiful views and comfy townhome

One of our best vacations yet. The townhome was spacious, two bedrooms and bathrooms that were very clean, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer in the unit. I loved how the back door open to a deck where we could sit and had steps for the kids to go down and play in the grass and near the river. Pool and hot tub were perfect.

Quick ski getaway

GREAT location. 500 yards from the gondola. This is a very roomy condo. Wifi, heat, hot water all worked perfectly. We were a family of 5 with all adult children. The sleeping space was good. The only negative was the comfort of the pull out sofa but I don’t think those are ever comfortable.

Comfortable ski escape

Well maintained and equipped property. Comfortable furniture and good size rooms. Deck looks over stream and onto mountains - excellent and relaxing vista. Less than five minute walk to River Run gondola and village. A ten minute drive to A Basin and about 30 minutes to Copper or Breck.

Great location!

Great location. Right next to river run. Perfect for biking because you're right on the main bike path. The entry way is spacious to keep golf clubs/ bikes etc safe at night. Condo was spacious and clean. Wish we would have known that Keystone is pretty closed up on their "off" season. Only a few things open at river run this time of year and don't open for a few more weeks aka October.If you're looking for night life go to Breckenridge! Also the steam room and fire pit by pool area didn't work . Otherwise would recommend!!

The rental was also incredibly dark, unlike in the photo. A few lightbulbs would have made a huge difference. Overall it was a good rental, but a little attention to detail would have made it a 5-star rental instead of a 4-star place.

Reviewer Comments: Pros: excellent location (a 5 minute walk to the gondola), beautiful view, well-stocked for cooking, clean, spacious, pool & hot tub access, and it was mostly comfortable.Cons: the living room furniture has seen better days (the green armchair was musty so we covered it with a blanket to sit on it), the bunk bed frame was broken, and the lighting in the main area was so incredibly dim. The last issue is an easy fix- just get better and brighter bulbs.We would stay here again, if only because the location was so convenient.

Red Hawk Townhome

We usually stay within river run village and we appreciated the privacy and that the water was always warm/hot unlike some of the other places we have stayed. The only bummer for us was that the coffee maker was not very good, didn't keep the coffee warm, and didn't make very much. It's a cheap and easy thing to replace. The coffee maker even said to rinse the carafe with hot water in order to keep the coffee hot, which did not work. I texted management and they said that there was not another coffee maker or another option. None of the TVs were smart tvs which was also a bummer as we could not watch netflix or disney plus at night time and had to deal with "regular cable" and a bunch of commercials and ads. Other than that, management was very responsive and we really enjoyed our stay.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great. Townhome was clean. Two main issues. 1. Thermostat does not work and it was way too warm in the townhome. Had to open windows to stay comfortable. Electrical outlets, especially in the main bedroom, were loose fitting and on some only the top outlet worked. These are both cheap and easy fixes that I hope are addressed soon. Also, keycards only worked the first day to the clubhouse and pool area. Called the number listed and was put on eternal hold.

Vacation September 2023

We did not have any hot water or heat that morning. We were to stay until Saturday but due to the problem we elected to leave a day early. When we contacted the customer service for the unit. They said that we were informed of the problem they were having on Thursday but never received an e-mail or text from anyone. The problem was Friday due to a broken pipe according to the property manager that came by soon after I had called with the problem.

It's an option - not a luxury one

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was really excited to stay at this property. After booking on VRBO, I was required to fill out 12 pages of paperwork/rules related to this property or forfeit the reservation, I was less excited. Standard check in? Nah, late check in (4:30pm) early check out (10am), with the request to let them know if you leave early. MAYBE they can let you check in earlier, but they'll charge another fee if they do let you. Beds are very firm, pillows are terrible/lumpy. It felt like trying to use an old stuffed animal as a pillow. I have stayed at multiple 4 Seasons, the linens/bedding does not even come close to "rivaling" it like mentioned on the booking landing page. One window wouldn't close all the way or lock, but they have you sign paperwork threatening you with fees if you don't close and lock them. No games, there was one game box but nothing related to the game was inside just a few poker chips. No playing cards or puzzles, but there is a Dennis Miller DVD from goodwill! Having required chores is a bit frustrating when paying for a substantial cleaning fee. Dull knives and chipped glasses/mugs. No gate code to allow food delivery through. The location is fantastic but $460 for a 17 hour stay, ONE parking pass for a two bedroom, all the paperwork, rusty sinks, poor bedding, and overall lack of "luxury" from "Luxury Mountain Retreats LLC" I'd rather just tackle the drive back down to Denver and sleep at home. They have skiers over a barrel and they know it.
