Great location, 3 minutes walk from the beach. The apartment was in great condition and had everything we needed. There were even some extra kitchen supplies like coffee filters, spices, etc.

Amazing unit!

This was an amazing unit with a spectacular view for the deck, it had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation! Kitchen was well stocked, beach supplies made a day at the beach easy (wagon, umbrella, chairs) beds were comfy and the place was very clean. Definitely recommend and look forward to another stay!! Mahalo

Great Location

Easy access to the beach across the street and to some stores for souvenirs down the street (walking distance). Could also walk to a few cafe-type places. Loved that I could see the ocean and the pool from the balcony.

Christmas in Maui

Fantastic location and great layout for our family of 4. My sons made good use of the fitness center and pool when they weren't on the beach. You have to get out there early for the grills and picnic tables but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance too.

Fantastic getaway!

The stay exceeded our expectations. The unit was spotless, larger than expected and the views were really amazing. Loved having my morning coffee on the lanai overlooking the mountains and ocean. Check in was easy and communication was great. The grounds are very well kept. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay in Kamaole Sands. The unit was exactly as described. It was clean, had all the advertised amenities. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, towels, sand toys, boogie board, and wagon. Our kids loved the pool and the grilling area was great.

Great location right across from Kam III. Nice sunset views from the patio, comfy master bed. Decent pool area at kamaole sands. While there is a gym, it’s very small and dated.

Best stay I have ever had with my family

My family stayed here and I must say, it was the best place we have ever stayed at. We came for a wedding in Wailea and out of my relatives that stayed at the other resorts in the area, this one was by far the best. It was quiet, gorgeous views of the resort and ocean, very clean, and friendly staff. My parents, who stayed in another resort, even said that they will be booking there next time. Everyone loved it and kids just didn’t want to leave. Thank you for hosting our family. It was our first family trip to Maui and we are definitely coming back and going to bookmark this place for the future.

Need to fix screen it was very hard to close. Also in downstairs bedroom some of the slates on the windows didn't close properly letting in the sun when sleeping.

Vacation in Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Kamaole Sands property was stunning. There were beautiful plants and trees everywhere and the grounds were perfectly manicured. The pool area was very nice as well. There is a ping pong table, a fuse ball table and a small gym next to the pool. We were in building 2, unit 404. The balcony is small but has a beautiful view of the ocean. The unit comfortably sleeps 4 people ( 2 single beds in downstairs bedroom and a king size in upper loft). The downstairs bedroom closet has 5 beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, a wagon to bring everything to the beach, a boogie board, pool noodles, water wings and 2 beach umbrellas (but don’t bother trying to use the umbrellas at Kam beaches because it is too windy). There were lots of spices in the kitchen and coffee filters but you need to purchase everything else including coffee, sugar and condiments. The location is great. It is right across from Kamaole beach 3 and a short walk to the right to Kam beach 2 or to the left only 5 min walk to the Kihei boat ramp where all the snorkel boats leave from. It is also a short walk to some shops and restaurants. Coconuts was good for a quick meal. Good land is only a 5 min drive up the road. Our favourite restaurant was Nalu’s Southshore Grill which was a 7 min drive up the road. The grounds crew at the Kamaole Sands were very sweet and friendly. It was a relaxing atmosphere. We walked across to the beach every night to see the stunning sunsets. It was an awesome week with my family!

It's a petty complaint but it was inconvenient on our part to drive to a store the day before we left to buy toilet paper. I think you gave us 2 rolls for each bathroom for the week. Ive never rented from anyone else that rationed toilet paper. very silly! also we only had 4 beach towels for the 5 of us. It was a lovely and nice condo and we enjoyed our stay. I've stayed at Kamaole Sands many times and this was the first time our toilet paper was rationed.Thank you

Incredible Property for Family of Four

Our family of two adults and two boys (ages 11 and 13) absolutely loved the property. This was our first trip to Maui, and the location was centrally located on the island and steps from Kam #3 beach. The latter has both snorkeling and the best beach break you’ll find in Maui not on the North Shore. Having a separate room and twin beds for our boys helps everyone maintain their sanity throughout the stay. The space, beautiful views of the water from the balcony, and amenities all added to our wonderful stay.
