This condo is in an ideal location - both in Kihei and within the condo complex - good views from the balcony, right across the street from Kamaole Beach Park II, lots of restaurants nearby in Kihei. Condo was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well-supplied. The whole complex is low-key and quiet. Great place!

The unit was well appointed and had a great view. We only had 36 hours so really didn’t use anything besides the beach towels which were provided. Building D at Kihei Akahi definitely has the best views and from the 5th floor the sunsets are beautiful.

This property was perfect! Exactly as described and all the amenities required. Also, an ample starter kit too!! This safe and comfortable (and well positioned) condo served as a fantastic home base for our honeymoon! I have stayed in many units at the Akahi and this one was the best! We will be back. We are familiar with Kihei Akahi and knew that we wanted to be in the D building for its view and location. This unit is well maintained and has a wonderful view of the ocean and the property. The best part about D513 is the two mini-split AC units to keep the main area and bedroom in back cool. One thing that was disappointing were the knives in the kitchen---certainly couldn't be called sharp objects....

We had a great time at the condo. The view was amazing and we spent so much time on the lanai. The condo itself had everything we needed and was nice and clean. We did agree with the knife situation as they are quite dull. I brought a serrated small knife and left it at the condo for future renters. We also purchased an ice pack and left in the freezer so you could put in the cooler when you go out. We’re already looking at when we want to come back to this condo next year as I’ve been to Kihei over a handful of times and I like this condo the very best so want to stay there the next time we go! The front desk at the condo and the Maui Rental people were fantastic as well. All were very helpful and so nice! Aloha and Mahalo. Leanne

On the second day of our rental, there was a ceiling leak in our bathroom. The problem was traced to a pipe leak in the unit directly above us. It was fixed and temporarily repaired in a day with the direction of the upstairs owner, a very nice fellow. On the day we left, another crew began a permanent fix.
