Kill Devil Hills Hotel with Pool

"This was an older hotel in need of some updating. Beds were not comfortable. In order to get to our room it was necessary to walk past the outdoor pool building of which had a terribly strong smell of gas. Someone did come out to repair and by the next evening it had returned."

"This was a wondeful property. I had never stayed in one of the boutique hotels but enjoyed the concept. The amenities in the game room were awesome! My small children enjoyed the complimentary popcorn and chocolate chip cookies. The continental breakfast selection was also fantastic. Very clean, centrally located, and easy to check in and out (despite an onsite attendant). We will be back!"

"Nice location on the beach"

"First time here. Close to everything we were wanting to see. Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was very helpful. Very good breakfast and they offered ice for your cooler at the office. Seems to be oriented toward families with many things for kids to do outside. Rooms were a good size but the sliding door for the bathroom was not what I expected. Only other thing is low shower pressure. Would definitely stay here again. Great restaurant directly across the street!"

"Room was clean but food left over in the microwave tht had a horriable smell in room..i informed the front desk she just gave me spray and said someone had just checked out at 10 am..i doupt it cause they wud have smelled the rotten food..fridge didnt work..and toilet gurgled all not like it was backed up..deff find a better motel or place to stay..front desk could have cared less.."

"Basic beach resort. Hotel needs updating and shows in places!starting with the overhang at the main entrance."
