When you're not on the beach, this home offers the amenities you and your family need for entertainment and recreation. The rec room features an 8ft. C.L. Bailey Company billiards table and kitchenette with bar sink and full-sized refrigerator perfect for serving drinks and refreshments. The theater room is equipped with a 9ft. projection screen and three rows of tiered seating for an audience of up to eighteen people. French doors lead from the rec room to the backyard with private pool, covered cabana with tiki bar, and grilling area with two charcoal grills. The sound system in the rec room is also wired to poolside outdoor speakers. The bubbling hot tub is located conveniently next to the pool.

Don't leave your four-legged friend behind, this home is dog friendly, after all - dogs need a vacation too! For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer located on every level. Sheets and towels are provided and your beds will be made when you arrive.

'Going to Carolina' is in the perfect location. In the heart of Kill Devil Hills means less driving and more time to relax and explore. Close to fine dining, shopping and attractions such as Roanoke Island, home to The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama, NC Aquarium and Kill Devil Hills, sight of the First Flight and the Wright Brothers Memorial. Also minutes from Jockey's Ridge where visitors can climb to the top, fly kites and hang glide.

Amazing stay!

Wonderful stay just steps from the beach! The property managers were incredibly responsive and answered all our questions before the trip. We didn’t mind the older interior, we spent most of our trip enjoying the beautiful pool and beach area. We’ll definitely be back!

All the right stuff, just old and in disrepair

The location, the pool, the hottub, the fenced in yard, and beach access were wonderful. We had everything we needed for a fun-filled week. The downside was the property itself. Almost everything looked worn, old, and in some cases broken. The hottub cover was torn, a few barstools were unusable, a sink didn't shut off, and a number of lightbulbs were out. The place needs a good once-over by the managment company/owner. We had fun despite the less-than-stellar house/amenities.

Going to Carolina

The property location is excellent and convenient to shopping and other activities. Beach access is excellent as is the view. A large property that accommodated four families very nicely, providing ample room for large family dining and privacy when needed. However, there are issues that need immediate attention: The property manager, Tiffany Grier is not responsive to problems and did not return phone calls or emails. The pool while great for kids, developed a problem on Sunday, day two, that was not corrected until Tuesday : The pool light came loose from the wall exposing electrical wiring. The spa is not properly maintained and two persons developed rashes one requiring a visit to the ER for antibiotic and steroid treatment. There were three doctors in our group who believe the spa was the most likely source of bacteria. While we would consider staying in this property again, it needs considerable attention, including deep cleaning and a more responsive and professional management team

Shockingly Terrible

This property is RUN DOWN. I will start with the good things. House is large and pool (not pool area, just pool) is nice. Everything else is awful. Outside is rotting and falling apart. No gas grill, only charcoal. Chairs are cheap and uncomfortable. There is no umbrella or shade on the upper deck. Inside, walls and rugs are filthy, furniture is all scratched, stained and old. The bathrooms were actually not too bad. The kitchen...don't get me started. My sister and I spent the first hour washing all the caked on, dried up food on the cabinets. All the supplies in the kitchen were old and worn. Stove knobs were all broken. The counter top was also all cracked by the sink. There is no disposal. Every year we stay in homes that are in the same price range. They have all been lovely well kept homes. The owner should be embarrassed to present this house for rent. Beach Realty misrepresented this home. They delete the reviews from their website. I have proof of this. I have pictures if anyone is interested.

one dishwasher did not function: dryer on 2nd floor did not operate: air filters were filthy: pool ground wire rusted through: pool not properly serviced as evidenced by changing colors; salt issue? hot tub leaks: see concrete pad under the tub on concrete deck below: shingles off roof at ridgeline, can be seen from left side of house.

Nice house that needs a lot of maintenance and new appliances.

The house had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. Many of the appliances in the house simply did not work. We requested that the pool be heated and it was not. If the owners of this house invested in some much needed upkeep and new appliances, it would be a very nice rental.
