「The front desk staff in the evening were very helpful kind and ensured the safety of guests after I reported a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. The manager went outside and circulated. The room was clean and hotel overall was very clean. The front desk staff really stood out to me as super- best I’ve experienced in a long time. I don’t usually stay at this location but due to the good service I would again.」

「We really appreciated the location, being right on the French River, the use of the kayaks, canoes, the view, etc. What could really use improvement, though, and would have us going back, is the bathroom ceiling was in dire need of cleaning and painting, otherwise nothing to complain about the room. Sure, it's dated, but we enjoyed that rustic look.」

「This is a very old property and it needs a lot of repairs to bring it up to a more modern standard. A little TLC would go a long way with this place. Some updates to the bathroom are needed and replacing the old carpet will help remove the smells. The yard somewhat maintained as the lawn was mowed, but a few flowers and pick up the garbage would make it so much better.」

「We have stayed at this location several times over the years as group traveling on a MC tour. The property is an excellent location to stop after crossing on the ferry. The rooms are well maintained and the property owners are very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend that the parking lot gets refreshed as there is sand and some light gravel on it making slippery. Thanks Gord」
