「The view of the beach is quite good. The sunset with the beach is great. But all others are bad. First of all, the resort is far from city centre. All of the local tour need to charge with extra cost for hotel pick up. The beach has jellyfish that we could not swim there. The taxi is expensive from the hotel to the city. The staff is not helpful. The hot water has been broken in the first night of our stay which we need to shower with cold water. We booked spa there but the staff has been late...

「Convenient restaurants/shops nearby and entertainment at the hotel bar.」

「New and modern furnishing.」

「Lovely hotel with lovely staff, there's an Orange store (very similar to 7 11) , an Indian restaurant and a cafe all in the vicinity. The only negative is the location as you'll have to take a Grab to travel around Kota Kinabalu.」

「Great value room, very nicely laid out and modern. Only niggle was that the previous guest had smoked in the bathroom and the one evening I stayed, I could smell cigarettes in the corridor from another room. Not much the staff can do about idiots breaking the rules without knocking on every door, so not a fault of the hotel. Also, I stayed only one night so its probably not the norm. I would definitely recommend!」
