「Excellent property! Clean, well maintained, A/C in common areas. 2 bedrooms on the main level in the main house- 1 king size bed-the other is a full . Behind the pool, there’s a separate house with 1 bedroom on ground level-full size bed-one bedroom accessible by spiral stair case-full size bed. All 4 bedrooms have an attached bath. No common bath. 「In short, Casa Kuxtal made our stay in Merida magical. The kids lived in the pool when we weren’t climbing Maya ruins, touring museums or eating cochinita pibil in one of the many nearby restaurants. The house is stocked with everything you need (and nothing you don’t), including the kitchen. While the central location can’t be beat, it’s a quiet oasis once inside and in the back garden. 「There is no AC in the main living areas. This is a problem when the temp outside is 100+. We really couldn't enjoy the house because it was too hot to move around. We were confined to the bedrooms. If you are traveling in cooler months this is a great option. The living area is large and nicely decorated. Kitchen is fully equipped. Nice little courtyard with pool and a large 2nd floor patio. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is good. Parking available on the street.」

「Property was clean and attractive, did not use stove as have never used a gas stove before, instructions would be helpful in the booklet made by the host in the property. 「The property, pool, beach are all as pictured. Modern home right on the beach. We enjoyed the pool after our beach walks. Netflix and internet always worked, property manager, Gregorio, was great. The town is further than it appears, you are “out there”, but that is the point. Mother Nature rules the roost, flamingo tour and mangroves of Sisal are amazing. We should all respect the nature and old ways of life in this fishing village without impacting the locals negatively. Palapa Soco- yumm!」

「The house is not fancy but it is a good value and the neighborhood is very cool. Grab some baguettes at the panaderia by the Ermita de Santa Isabel just a couple of blocks away and get food and drinks at the Autogiro Ermita Cantina a couple of blocks past that. You won't regret it!」
