We liked the interaction with staff, making us feel welcome. Especially the front desk. The middle aged grey haired woman who served us was a delight. The restaurant was perfect, the food delicious. My 84 year old twin sister and I come there every year for a couple of days. We have always had a lovely time.

We sadly stay in a fair number of hotels and its sad how so many no longer take pride in their establishments. Fireside however still cares. Whoever decided to stay with the cozy, dated look....is on point. We absolutely love it here! Staff are wonderful! Food is fantastic and and atmosphere is un-touched :) HIGHLY recommend !!

The room was exceptionally clean, although a little faded, but rustic with charm. Location served me well as close to drive to the shopping mall, but also able to walk into Kingston for dinner (6 kms round trip). My only complaint would be the smell of cigarettes from staff that smoke doesn't give a great first impression. I was very happy overall with my stay and would go back. Delicious breakfast included!

We had a great experience in one of the fastest rooms. Quaint hotel, well kept, clean, nice amenities (pool). In house Restaurants were good too. Friendly, helpful staff. We had breakfast included which was a bonus. We would stay here again.

The property is dated but generally clean and maintained. Breakfast was hot and ok. Staff where helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Tom's restaurant has EXCELLENT food and a warm atmosphere. Care needs to be taken if walking around the neighborhood. We found broken drug paraphernalia and open drug use in the area but not on the hotel property. Use caution.

The room was quiet, clean, and spacious, and the amenities were very well maintained. I loved the cozy fireplace and the vintage books on the shelves! There is plenty of parking, and both the pool and patio areas looked great. The staff were super helpful and friendly. While the buffet breakfast wasn't overly lavish, it still offered a solid variety of options. The location is very convenient—right next to Food Basics, close to A&W and McDonald's, and only about 4 minutes from a gas station. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Jason at the front desk was very accommodating and customer friendly, breakfast was better than most other hotels, pool was nice but needed to be clean, beds were comfortable, cost per night was alot better than the downtown hotels.
