Rooms were clean, customer service was exceptional they even accomadated late checkout. The price was very reasonable for the New Kingston area. The complimentary breakfast was nice and eating outside was quaint and cozy. It is an older hotel that is currently undergoing rennovations. I was not disappointed.

Location was central and convenient and staff was pleasant. However the housekeeping service being stationed on the small floor for the entire day felt very intimidating 'how long does it really take to clean a room?'

The room was clean but keeping our mess to a minimum was hard with a 3 years old and his disorganized mom was challenging yet our housekeeper Charisse did an excellent job and was very pleasant. The staff in the dining room at breakfast was awesome, very friendly to the sometime cranky and very picky aforementioned toddler. They stopped to speak to him and one even walked him around a few of the tables, always encouraging him to eat. Checkout was easy however on check in, the reception clerk on duty needs a little common sense, putting 2 women plus a toddler in one bed? Despite a call to the hotel requesting 2 beds, we were given a king sized bed but it was changed without a problem to a more appropriate room. Javon at reception was awesome. Breakfast was ehh. Not what I was expecting, not even a likkle bit a ackee for the 7 meals we ate. As a long time food service manager in educational and institutional kitchens, I would use frozen eggs vs powdered eggs, better quality sitting on warmer for extended periods. All in all an above average stay.

Airport pick up fail. The nxtday room not cleaned till well after 3pm. View in room over garbage dump.Frig not working. Problem with door lock. No silverware buffet breakfast. Food selection disappointing and service non existent. Consistently disorganized. I req assist from my friend's daughter yo contact hotel nearby to req airport pick upm They ended up picking me up. But brought their mom who I wasn't suppose to see till the next day. She was exhausted. They traveled a distance with her in the car. Shes 89yrs. I paid for a single room. I checked with the desk to see if it would be alright for her to stay in my room. I asked for two double beds. But when we got upstairs itvwas a king. They said hotel booked. But could change the next day due to thevrooms opening up from checkoutm But before thst it took aprox 30mins to sort that out. The next day we left in the morning andvreturned after 3pm. Our room hadn't been cleaned. They finally changed our room much later. It was a beautiful room with view and balcony. But, the lock was nonexistance. Maintenance said the room had problems with the l9ck being broken so they removedbit So we slept with no l9vk. It was very didturbing. No more rooms available. Two staff members were rude throughout my experience with this hotel. The General Mgr and front desk staff were lovely
