“Cannot recommend this resort enough. It is absolutely beautiful! Staff was amazing. It’s the best food I’ve ever had at an AI, both in the variety and in the quality. It is worth upgrading the platinum just for the butler service alone. Glaister and Rajuan were our butlers and we will be requesting them when we go back.”

“Nothing was explain upon arrival. We had no clue about how to get around the resort and asked for someone to explain and we got nothing. Everything seems like a sale in an all inclusive resort where we thought everything was included. We weren’t aware of anything. The staff appears overworked and tired. More negative interactions with staff than positive ones.”

There are some areas that can use some attention (we had a few things in our room that suffered from wear and tear), but by no means a deal breaker. The entertainment was great, and there is a lot to do without leaving the resort. We did though, and enjoyed every minute. We will go back and will most likely stay at the Riu. Lovely vacation!!”

“Azul Beach Resort Negril was a relaxing and beautiful escape. The beachfront is stunning—calm turquoise water, soft sand, and sunsets that really slow you down. The resort itself is easy to navigate and has a comfortable, laid-back feel that makes it simple to unwind. Rooms were clean, airy, and well-suited for a beach vacation. “Resort needs updating. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, our curtains were not on track properly and very difficult to open/close. Food in the Samurai Restaurant and the Italian Restaurant was mediocre. We did find a good variety of offerings in the Buffet and chose to eat out on the patio for breakfast and dinner which was quiet and relaxing. The service in the buffet was good. Excellent desserts and omelettes too.”

“Overall the property was great! Beach is amazing and staff was very friendly. Food was very good as far as all inclusives go. Getting reservations for the restaurants is difficult and the process to book for more than 2 people a little wonky. Be prepared to be frustrated there but not a deal breaker for us. We will go back simply for that beach.”
