「Room was clean staff was beap」

「Beautiful resort! But… it needs much improvement. If your (African American) this property will not cater to you at all. I had to call on many different occasions to clean the room or ask for towels. Some staff were semi aggressive from asking basic things. Having traveled to other countries, we’d expect vacation service, not al la carte service as everyone expected a tip for basic things. Don’t think I would take my family here again. It’s also very far from the airport. 」

「Property is beautiful. Make sure you choose your spot at the pool or beach early. My biggest complaint about this place is that they allow people to "save" spots all over. I watched 1 couple place towels at the beach, pool & cabana one morning. Many chairs are only occupied by a towel for hours. Frustrating. The food was excellent. I do wish that the breakfast buffet menu would change daily. It got old after the first couple of days. We will likely return to this property. We have stayed...

「I’ve stayed at a RIU in Montego Bay before, so I knew paying more usually means a nicer, more “luxury” experience. That wasn’t really the case here. Palace Tropical Bay didn’t feel like an upgrade, and honestly we could’ve just stayed at Riu Negril and been just as happy, if not happier. When we went there for the White Party, it looked just as nice. The swim-up bar pool was also an issue—the filter seemed off because there was always debris floating around, which wasn’t great.
