Had a clear "partial beach view" although our room was above the smoking area which was a bummer because who wants to smell cigarettes all day. Check in was not smooth either and my fiancee and I had to wait TWO hours past check-in time for our room to be ready. Being that we didn't get into our room until 5pm when we attempted to book dinners for our stay the restaurants we wanted to check out were all booked. Ridiculous. While we waited for our rooms we wanted to check out the amenities and the gym in the picture on Expedia DEFINITELY does NOT mirror real-life. It was not bad I'm actuality but the picture was definitely not what was offered. Extreme false advertisement. The food in the main buffet, Ackee was decent although my fiance found multiple foreign hairs in her pasta from the pasta bar. Decent selection of foods though but for a long stay we were worn out by the third day. We did get into Bamboo House (no reservations required) on the 3rd day for dinner and it was so-so. It was ALSO a buffet so it wasnt like ordering whole seated. The grilled salmon bites they had were fantastic, everything else we could have done without. I've stayed at a could different RIU properties over the years and they have all had room service. Not quite sure why they don't here at an adults-only, all-inclusive resort but they definitely didn't and that was a huge bummer. I used to live ordering late night cheeseburgers but whatever I suppose.

The staff was amazing Abby at the buffet always made sure we had a great place to sit and she kept out mimosas filled. And Michelle at the main pool bar was amazing! The foam parties at Reggae and Montego Bay were so much fun. This is the resort to visit if you're looking for a good time. we extended our stay because we loved this place that much.

Nice hotel staff is great Kenken and shavara where the best bartenders they did run out of face towels by day 3 but still fun all the fun party's happen on the weekends and at Montego Bay mostly the foam party was fun

The Good Stuff: Vibe: As an adults-only resort, the atmosphere was [Relaxing / Energetic / Fun]. Perfect for couples or groups looking for a kid-free escape. Room Quality: The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout the stay. The daily housekeeping did a fantastic job. The View: If you can, book an ocean view room! Waking up to the turquoise waters of Montego Bay was the highlight of every morning. Beach & Pools: The beach is beautiful and clean. I personally loved the [Infinity Pool / Swim-up Bar]—the staff there were incredibly friendly and kept the drinks flowing. Service: The staff truly made the difference. They were always smiling and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Tips: Dining: Make your reservations for the specialty restaurants (like the Steakhouse or Asian fusion) early! Location: It's very close to the airport (about 10 mins), which is great for a quick arrival, though you will see/hear planes occasionally. Connectivity: The Wi-Fi worked great throughout the property, even down by the beach.

This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed ourselves again. The only downside is the Asian restaurant, the menu needs to be revamped because the food is not appealing. We left there and went to the buffet to eat.

Overall a nice trip, some of the small touches like fresh cut coconut to drink at the beach, jerk chicken bbq served at the beach. Service overall was good but just felt the service level never felt exceptional other than Zahire the server who always went above and beyond with a genuine care to elevate our experience. The area of the hotel that truly is an opportunity is the very indifferent front desk. When your flight is canceled and you need to extend your stay even if you don’t have the availability show some empathy and try and help the guest and not just tell me you don’t have availability. Nonetheless a nice visit but would consider another brand in the future.

The safe didn’t work right when I got there but someone came up and fixed it within a half hour. I was very pleased. The staff were excellent and very accommodating in all areas of the resort. Loved the view at the beach wish I was still there on my lounger listening to the waves crash.

Beach was perfect, i did not book an ocean view room but that was also available. The food was awesome and the staff attentative and polite. Will definitely return soon
