Wonderful stay!!
Emily and Don’s home is EXACTLY as the pictures show!! Which means roomy bedrooms and living areas and Lovely decor and immaculately clean. Beds and bedding were so comfortable that we asked them where they purchased the furniture and linens.
They left easy to follow instructions for accessing the house, and everything we’d need to know down to what light switch controls what is labeled for our convenience.
They sent us thoughtful recommendations for restaurants and shopping. They prepped the fireplace with wood and starters for us, and the hot tub was on, heated and ready to go!
The breakfast and food items for our enjoyment (along with sealed toiletries in case we forgot a toothbrush or deodorant) were over the top touches that were much appreciated. We would 100% stay here again. We were a group of 6 former college friends having a girl’s getaway, and this house provided all we needed and more.
We did not explore much of the area aside from a few hours in Hudson so we cannot really comment about the surrounding area, but the house was in a woodsy and beautiful neighborhood. Nearest house could barely be seen through the trees so overall it was a great feeling of privacy without feeling like we were isolated in the middle of nowhere. House was easy to navigate to get to and from the NYS Thruway.
