"Our group went to the Riverview restaurant two of the three nights and both times were serviced in a way which made us feel like the staff did not want us to eat there. "
"Loved it here! A perfect spot in Woodstock to walk to everything. Beautiful property with a little coffee bar attached to reception. Rooms were great, King sized bed, good bathroom, spacious. It was perfect really. "

"Staff is very friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Microwave and refrigerator were spotless. Since it is animal friendly, there are no carpets on the floors.
The Continental Breakfast was very nice offering: instant oatmeal, muffins, a variety of breakfast bars, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, tea, & hot chocolate.
I would stay there again."
"Great location if you are spending a couple of days in the Kingston area. Charming house and decor. I loved that they deliver warm coffee and muffins in the morning. The room was decorated nicely and they even provided a record player with records."
"Great location very close to the Rondout where my children attended camp. Hosts gave great recommendations for local dining. We visited Village Grocery around the corner at least once each day for all our kitchen and snack needs, plus coffee. We also enjoyed local hiking. The rental feels close to everything. Back at the rental we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. It was a very peaceful, easy, and comfortable stay. The hosts were very attentive and great communicators. Thank you!"
Dog-Friendly Hudson Valley Escape with Hot Tub & Jacuzzi
10/10 Excellent
"This space was really cute and easy to find. The beds were comfortable, we had all of the amenities needed and even more, and I must mention that the shower in the bathroom was amazing. We all loved being there and were so grateful to be able to travel with our cat and find a pet-friendly space. "
"Overall disappointing. Historic and on creek sounded great. But they forgot to mention that it’s also right under the train bridge which has train traffic all hours of the day and night. And it’s on a busy road so the no shoulder so the vehicle traffic is loud and you can’t walk the dog or walk anywhere safely from the house. We stayed in the 2-bedroom which was the first two floors of a 3 bedroom house. The floors are see-thru boards and we could hear every move the people on the 3rd floor made. The claw-tub bath/shower is balanced on a block of wood. The floors are j even and tiles are coming up but they just threw some rugs over them. The stairs are steep and narrow. There’s no yard (really tough with dog). And the sink in the bathroom spit out brown rusty water the first use of the day. There is nothing on the windows to block the bright street lights that shine straight into the bedrooms, so none of us slept well. I thought it was daylight at 1 am. They’ve put some effort into decorating and maybe they’ve really fixed it up from what it was. But I could not recommend staying here. "
Charming garden apartment with Hudson River views in historic downtown Kingston
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic experience at this beautifully designed VRBO in Kingston, NY. From the moment we walked in, it was clear the hosts had thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The space was stylish and welcoming, blending modern design with cozy touches that made it feel like home. One of the biggest highlights for us was how dog-friendly the property was. It can be hard to find places that truly accommodate pets, but this one went above and beyond—from the provided dog bowls and treats to the fenced outdoor space that made it easy for our pup to relax right along with us.The location couldn’t have been better—tucked in a quiet neighborhood yet just minutes from great restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Whether we were exploring downtown Kingston or enjoying a quiet morning on the patio, everything about the stay felt easy and well thought out. We’d absolutely return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing, pet-friendly getaway with hosts who really care about their guests’ experience.
