「Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room was very comfortable and clean and had an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. A great hot breakfast, which was buffet style. Arriving back very late from a wedding reception, snacks were available near the front desk. The location of this hotel is excellent for onward journeys and there is good parking. I would stay here again. Happy to recommend a stay here.」

「This is a great hotel / pub in a very good location and ideal for touring Aberdeenshire. Only about 20 mins from Aberdeen airport. The rooms are absolutely excellent and very spacious The bar and restaurant area is very welcoming and for those who enjoy whiskey there is an extensive range. The host Stuart is wonderful, very engaging and takes time to ensure all guests / customers are satisfied and enjoying themselves.」

「Was clean when we arrived, towels and sheets were all clean - room was basic, was blackout blinds and a big smart tv, air con wasn't working but had 2 fans which was fine and had both on as was hot - but was also warm outside. No room service on our 3 night stay though, didn't really need it but most hotels do it regardless so is a little odd. Water pressure is awful, shower is more of a fast trickle but water was hot. Had kettle, mugs and glasses but no coffee.」
