"Overall had a fantastic stay. Location was second to none: on the lake, short drive from hikes, Interlaken, etc. Excellent communication with hosts. Only down side was the heat. 28C days with sun coming through the (lovely) patio windows turns the place into a sauna. The poor tiny air conditioner couldn't keep up and we couldn't close the patio blinds for 'safety reasons'. Loft far to hot to sleep so had to sleep on the couch. Would be a perfect stay if slightly cooler"

"Pros: Good location. The balcony has good views of mountain, river, and cable car. The Grindelwald Grud is walkable, about 10 mins and the Grindelwald Terminal is about 13 mins on foot. Grindelwald Terminal has many shops, including coop (grocery store) and Lindt chocolate. The apartment doesn't have A/C or standing fans, but if you keep the windows open, you get nice freeze. My husband and I were traveling with our 2 year old twins so location was very important to us and this was perfectly located never everything and was easily walkable! The place its self was cozy but very clean and comfortable for my entire family ! "The name says it all. When you stay here, you feel like you are staying in a palace. On the outside, it is far away the most magnificent building in Murren. The inside is even better, tastefully and magnificently decorated. The staff is excellent, and the sauna in the spa area is not to be missed. Finally, the dining room is dramatic and the food, particularly the extravagant breakfast, is hard to beat."
