“The room is very spacious and comfortable with most of the necessary items included ! The bed is comfortable and big enough. I chose Junior suit for family stay which would not make us feel crowded. Though the hotel is no located right near Basel SBB station, it just takes 5mins bus (no.30 at station C next to Basel station) to arrive hotel. The surroundings of the hotel are silent and beautiful. I love this stay ! Moreover, the hotel provided us a card per head for taking the transport in Basel……

“Our stay was lovely at hotel Victoria, the reception staff were so kind, helpful and welcoming. Sometimes being a person of colour in Europe can be daunting but the hotel and Basel in general felt safe. Only slight feedback I would have is for cleaning, some used plates , mugs etc were not removed or cleaned and rubbish was not taken from the room ( we have accumulated it in a bag and placed it next to the dustbin as all of it would not fit in the bin). Bed and bathroom was cleaned so that was……

“It is a bit far from the Basel train station but the tram number 8 can take you nearby, hotel host upgraded my room to a bigger size on top floor, while you cannot imagine it is a big hotel from outside, good bathroom with enough hot and water pressure, easy to reach most of the Basel old town attractions”
