“The location is great, very close to our friend’s house. The room is nice with a balcony. Good for business or trip to stay.”

“Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh! We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced.……

“Great Hotel in general so I’ve given full marks, however considering there’s no air-conditioning and just a fan they should provide bottles of still water for free especially at £160 per night for the cheapest room.”

“The staff could not have been more helpful, I had to be admitted to hospital yesterday evening and my partner called the hotel who were so kind and understanding when it transpired that my belongings might need to be set aside. the lady who staffed the breakfast serving was so patient and smiley giving terrific customer service. THANK YOU so much! ”
