「The lady that we dealt with was very nice , she made my husband and myself very welcome. The room was clean but I have to say very tired , but it was a ok . The breakfast was fine . Can’t comment on shops as we went to a wedding so didn’t go far and the next morning we drove home.」

「We had a fantastic stay at The Old Rectory. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was the most comfortable we had in a 3 week tour of the UK! The host, Dave was lovely. So helpful in recommending local sights, and made a wonderful breakfast and coffee in the morning. The location was fantastic as well, Easy to walk to the High Street, beautiful bridge and walking trails, Annan museum, and restaurants etc. Thank you!」

「My friends and I stayed overnight during our road trip. We chose the hotel because it was along our route and had ample parking available.

「Breakfast was good and the lady tending it was very sweet. Front desk staff was very rude. Pretty bad first impression. Also — really looking forward to the hot tub and but again front desk staff had no idea what I was talking about despite it being listed as an amenity on the website. Kinda rots after a long hike on Hadrians wall. Carpeting throughout was old, outdated, and very grungie. Overall, very mid.」
