Like a dream - exactly what we were looking for!
It was like a perfect Winter dream. The cosy cabin, the Christmas decoration and every little detail made us feel welcome. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well.
But what was simply the best is really the location: Secluded in the forest at a beautiful river that was frozen these days. We haven had a small group of reindeer passing by.
Overall it was really perfect. Thank you so much!

Sehr gutes Objekt
Da wir in der Dunkelheit (in Kittilä ab 16 Uhr zu dieser Jahreszeit) gestaltete sich die Anfahrt schwierig. Wir fanden das Objekt erst mit Hilfe eines Nachbarn (ca. 2 km vom Objekt entfernt)....
Dann aber war für uns alles perfekt!!!!

Ruhige Lage und gut ausgestattet
Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und die Vermieter stehen zur Verfügung bei Problemen. Für Einkäufe ist ein Auto notwendig da die nächste Gelegenheit in Kittilä ist.

Ein gemütliches Heim
Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in diesem gemütlichen Haus am Fluss. Einige Möbel sind schon etwas „wackelig“ und in die Jahre gekommen, aber Lage, Ausstattung und Naturerleben ließen keine Wünsche offen.

Perfect place for leisure in lappish Winter
Cosy Mökki, well equipped with everything you need for relaxed holidays in Finland. We stayed there for one week in January 2018, during the polar winter/night. It is spacious, clean and located at a remote and quiet dead end of a narrow street from the main street, overlooking the Ounasjoki river from its banks. Kittilä is easily reached by car (about 15 min drive) as well as the Kittilä airport. The keykeeper/landlord is very kind and assists one at any time. This holiday home is absolutely recommendable.
