Hotel DerBar is set in a beautiful location overlooking the mountains. The food is amazing and in abundance. There are spa facilities and an infinity pool. Have visited before and would again!

Great hotel with great service

We stayed at Hotel der Bar for 4 nights for a wedding. The hotel staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had friends at different hotels in Ellmau but ours was the nicest of the bunch. We would definitely come back and stay here and would recommend it. We stayed in the junior suite with panoramic views. We would recommend spending a little more for this view....which is spectacular!

Klare Empfehlung

Dieses Hotel hat eine gute Ausgangslage und ist rundum nur zu empfehlen! Das Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und auch der Sauna- und Schwimmbadbereich einladend. Für den Wellnessbereich hatten wir leider nicht genug Zeit. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Outstanding family retreat

We loved, loved, loved our stay at this charming hotel. The hotel is beautiful and tastefully furnished, the food was delicious. But the best part must have been the service. The staff was extremely attentive and professional, and always ahead a kind word for our children. Our son had an amazing time, he particularly loved the kids club. We definitely hope to come back to this lovely place.

Wellness området er ikke så stort, når man tænker på, at det er 5 stjernet, lille pool og ældre wellness. Der er helt nye værelser, men vi boede i rækkehus, som var af ældre dato, men super med plads, specielt da vi havde hund med. Morgenmad perfekt, aftensmad var også god og lækker.

geschmackvolle Zimmer, super Essen und Serive

Wir hatten nur eine Übernachtung, haben aber unseren Aufenthalt vom Abendessen bis zum Frühstück sehr genossen. Leider konnten wir die vielen Wellness Angebote in der Zeit nicht wahrnehmen, hatten aber viel Freude bei der Vernissage vom in Österreich schon sehr bekannten Maler A.Feigl. Die Veranstaltung war ein Genuß für alle Sinne - den Gaumen, die Ohren und die Augen - und die Seele.Seht euch einfach bei eurem nächsten Aufenthalt auch die schönen Bilder an!

Ausgezeichneter Service

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Hotel mit ausgezeichnetem Service. Sehr gut geschulte und kompetente Mitarbeiter. Besonders die Damen an der Rezeption waren stets hilfsbereit und immer super freundlich. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist mehr als reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Zimmer sind modern-gemütlich eingerichtet und die Betten sind ein Traum. Wir haben noch nie so gut geschlafen. Einziges Manko: es gab nur auf einer Seite vom Bett eine Leselampe. Auch der Saunabereich ist wunderschön. Dieses Hotel hat seine 5 Sterne wirklich verdient. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!!!

You've found a lovely hotel - Hotel Der Bar

My husband, myself and our two boys aged 12 had a fantastic stay at Hotel Der Bar. We have high expectations and although we stay in 4* hotels we often complain if the staff, cleanliness, quality etc. does not meet our high standards. Hotel Der Bar exceeded our expectations. The staff were all friendly and professional and the family/owners all took the time to talk to us throughout our stay to check that we were happy with everything, very unusual and over and above what we are used to. The staff were accommodating and helpful and the gourmet food was delicious, something to suit everyone's palate. Nothing was too much trouble and our children (who can be fussy eaters) were in raptures about the cuisine, as were we. No need to eat anywhere else in Ellmau, great value half board is like full board. We expected a few cakes for the afternoon included in our half board, however there was a mini banquet from 1pm-4pm of salads, soup, curry/chicken/lasagne etc. as well as cakes.Plenty to do in and around the hotel, Ellmau is a lovely unspoilt village. The electric bike shop is a short walk from the hotel, the nearby waterpark which we also walked to was spotlessly clean, not very busy, great value at 21 euro's for the four of us, for the whole day. There's chair lifts and a train you can walk to which takes you up the mountain. We normally like to try different hotels/countries however we would love to go back to Hotel Der Bar, anytime and would highly reccommend it to everyone.

Solidt, pistenær hyggeligt hotel med god betjening

Dejligt beliggende hotel, med venlig og imødekommende personale, hvor ejeren giver det et personligt touch. Ligger lige ved adgangen til pisterne /5 meter), så kørsel i bil er ikke nødvendigt. Dejlig morgenmad, og ved tilkøb af aftensmad får man "value for money". Det er godt! Værelserne er i gammel stil og ældre, men med alt man med rimelighed kan forvente.
