"An absolutely amazing stay! The rooms were really nice and comfortable. The place is right on the beach (literally, you step onto sand once you enter through the gate). And I can not say enough about how thoughtful, considerate, and kind ALL of the staff are - (for example, they stood by our chairs when we left our towels etc to go into the ocean without us asking or anything!). Definitely will be recommending to all my friends."

"Great stay"

"The room was cleaned daily, and the evening turndown service was a lovely touch. The staff were exceptional — every single member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail truly exceeded expectations. The spa was the best ever."

"The outside grounds of the hotel are manicured beautifully. "

"Great resort and professional staff. We really enjoyed our stay at ocean paradise, room was clean and quiet , food was delicious and night shows and entertainment was added value."

"It was Quiet and more private. Food was good. Had the pool to ourselves and beach was never crowded."

"Overall bad experience since check in, we had to come back to reception 3 times before getting everything properly, such as wifi card, towels, safe key. At least they allowed us with an early check in. Do not book all inclusive formula since it's a cheat. Even tanzania beer such as serengeti or kilimanjaro are not included, they just serve another beer included. In the room you will find 2 little bottles of water (200ml each). Choose if you want to drink or have a coffee. I live in Tanzania and...

"Fantastic stay – highly recommended! A fantastic place with exceptional service and wonderful staff. The breakfast was delicious, and the facilities were beautiful. Our villa was absolutely amazing, and we really enjoyed the lovely spa and stunning main pool. Everything was perfect, and we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!"

"All good Nice new place . Just one security on entrance was rude . Hotel new staff need to learn how to talk to the guests"

"Excellent location. We had money go missing from our room. Check in was very impersonal and after a full days travel we were required to line up again to fill out an pay the government tax, surly this can be done anytime during the stay. The person who took us to our room gave us no information about the place room wise or resort wise. They talk a good service ethic but as far as I was concerned service was non existent. Overpriced for the standard of the overall experience. To make the stay...

" Very friendly staff. "

"Everything was great!! A beautiful place."

"It was a nice and quiet hotel, exactly what we needed for our first few days on Zanzibar. Staff were good and food was lovely. "

"Room was clean, staff exceptionally nice, area looked like paradise"

"This property is underrepresented , it’s a well balanced blend of nature and contemporary living , with private pods you could confuse for a mini yatch, the lounges , swimming pools , live entertainment, excursions and yet most important is the most courteous staff , where anything with a possibly of discomfort is met with gentle and expedited resolution that you even forget it happened. The distance from the airport is eclipsed by the shuttle service and revelation of this serene and...

"Beautifully laid out, beach right out every front door, very clean, staff was helpful and friendly, great food and a quiet but still family atmosphere. You can tell the owners give a lot of attention to the details. Pool was so clean and beautiful. Also the landscaping was stunning and gave it an upscale resort feel while still having an intimate feel. They set up an excursion and airport ride and made the whole process easy. Would HIGHLY recommend this place and would stay here again!"

"Vi havde generelt et godt ophold. Servicen var god, og de ansatte var imødekommende og kommunikerende. Værelset var fint, og AC virkede upåklageligt. Eneste minus var badeværelset, som var uden afskærmet brusekabine og bestemt ikke lever op til standarden for et godt hotel. Hotellet har god beliggenhed helt ned til havet, og stranden er dejlig og umiddelbart mindre turistet end andre steder på Zanzibar. "

"The accommodations, food, and service were incredible! "

"Pros: Warm water pools (3 of them), sugar white powdery sandy (absolutely no sea-weed) beach with warm sea water better than the Maldives, Maasai shops next to the hotel and in the village within walking distance, large roofed restaurant with seating on white sandy floor, plenty of beach loungers, friendly restaurant staff Cons: Dated rooms, water leaking from shower to rest of the washroom which they could not repair after multiple attempts"
