"Self check in near to midnight worked seamlessly. Very short walk from the train station, centrally situated a short walk to the university, cathedral, harbour. Lots of cafes, shopping, very safe. Hostel was warmly heated so, very comfortable in cold January. Bathrooms clean, bed very comfortable and bedding clean. Hostel has a small kitchen if needed and there is a communal hairdryer stored there. too."

"We had a difficult time finding the address; that was probably on us. Once we found it, we loved it so much! We were right in the middle of the transportation hub, but far enough away that there was no noise from it. They were doing construction work in the park behind us, but when it's not under construction, it's probably a stunning park. Would go out of my way to stay there again."

You gotta walk 15min to go get the key after 4pm, which is NO fun when it’s minus degrees and snowing… (consider your season of travel when booking this place). Staff are friendly, but the place isn’t amazing. If you’re ok with average stay for average price (which I was…), this is a great deal. It is family friendly, in my opinion. Great coffee shops, fashion stores, restaurants, etc, within walking...
