We absolutely loved our stay at Gajapuri. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the location was perfect and we loved the pool and beach. Best of all the staff were so welcoming and kind, and couldn’t do enough to help us. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious - so much on offer. We felt completely looked after and spoilt. We definitely hope to return.

Peaceful property with lovely common areas

We loved the location, service, sea views and common areas of this property. Even though there isn’t a beach to relax on, chairs and tables along the shoreline allow beautiful and relaxing views, especially at sunset. You can sit by the pool, in the gardens, or on the bar deck next to the shore. Easy walk to a few shops, bars and restaurants. Pleasant breakfast too.

One of the best hotels on Koh Chang. Everything new and perfect. The breakfast could be slightly better and the last hour they not adding anything, so they just have empty plates there for long time...not too good to have it this way.. but I don’t care much.. the rooms are perfect, the pool is amaising, it all looks like a little paradise there.. everything is eco-wood stile.. nicely done. and I know what I am talking about. I stayed in 4 different 4 stars hotels in Koh Chang and I work as a real estate agent. I know how and what should it look like and not just telling it’s good because I had a good time there.. it is good compare to other hotels in the same price range and definitely worth it if you thinking between this one or to save like $20-30 per night and go with a little cheaper option because you found also 4 stars and also looks okey.. my opinion - don’t be cheap.. worth it. Good hotel.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war leider ausbaufähig. Wir hatten bspw. die Unterkunft mit seitlichem Meerblick, wobei der Meerblick durch andere Hütten voll und ganz versperrt war. Die Unterkunft war z.T. sehr abgewohnt und wir hatten dauernd Probleme mit der elektronischen Tür, sodass mehrmals das Personal kommen musste. Ansonsten ist die Anlage an sich sehr groß und auch gut gepflegt und macht auch sonst einen guten Eindruck. Die zwei Damen an der Rezeption muss man hier hervorheben und machen einen super Job. Das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig, aber in Ordnung. Der Pool (Bild) ist wirklich schön und auch mit den Bergen und dem Dschungel im Hintergrund ein richtiger Hingucker

Relaxing week at Gajapuri

We enjoyed a relaxing week at Gajapuri. Loved the “adults only” pool and that there were always sun loungers available; although, one day some loud kids were in there, not sure how enforced the 16 and over only rule is. Also enjoyed the swings down at the beach. We thought breakfast was above average as far as typical Thailand Hotel breakfasts go. The room was lovely as well with a very comfy bed. Only complaint would be that there was a bit of water damage around the shower area but I imagine this is a fact of life In Koh Chang’s climate. The best part about Gajapuri was definitely the peace and quiet and the general vibe of tranquility throughout the property. Hope to stay again in the future!

En smuk oase

En fantastisk hotel og smuk oase. Super morgenmad og service generelt, dog undtaget deres restaurant/bar. Virkelig langsom service og maden er horribel dyr kontra hvad du får. 220 baht for en Kad Pra Kao med ca. 30 gr. kylling. Det er synd fordi maden smager faktisk godt, men det prisleje gør bare at du dropper at spise der. Samtidig også irriterende når der ikke er andre muligheder ved poolen. De skal også lege strandbar, så man kan vente 15 min på 2 cocktails til 450 bath selvom der ingen gæster er ellers, og det er de dårligste pina coladas jeg i mit liv har fået. Så solnedgangen må man også ud og finde hos naboerne. Vi havde en fantastisk japansk middag første aften. Den var virkelig god og helt fair til 850 baht med alt du kunne spise af sushi og andre lækkerier. Vi forlængede så vores ophold med 1 nat på dette smukke sted. Bungalowen var perfekt. Dette gjorde vi efter 1. dag og de sagde den var ledig. Alt var skønt men på dagen prøvede de og flytte og sagde der var booket nogen andre fra deres Bangkok kontor. Det nægtede vi selvfølgelig da de havde solgt os det og forlænget vores værelsesnøgle med 1 nat. Det må ikke ske. Så føler man sig ikke særlig påskønnet. Få styr på restaurant, priser og bar. Ansæt en bartender og fix de småting. Så kommer vi tilbage igen og igen :) Tak ellers for god behandling og skønt ophold i et hyggeligt område i Koh Chang.

The setting of the hotel is stunning there is a fabulous view of the mountains in one direction and the ocean in the other. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms and grounds are well maintained. Breakfast is well organised and there is a wide selection that caters for all tastes. Fabulous !!

Very nice hotel.

Great stay. Lovely hotel. Breakfast tasty and different every day. Spent a week and would go again. Check in easy. Staff helped me arrange transportation back to Bangkok. Loved the koi ponds.

Lovely break in Koh Chang

Lovely place to stay, very well kept location. Room's clean and close to local restaurants and bars. Had a lovely relaxing time at Gajapuri.
