Moonlight 这家酒店位于兰达岛的西海岸中部，位置非常好。门口不算显眼，在主干道上有一块标牌，需要走下坡才能到达酒店前台。 酒店客房很有特色，都是一个个独立的小楼，非常悠久，不会被别人打搅。酒店生态环境非常好，时不时可以看到热带鸟类和壁虎。酒店的私人海滩非常美，沙子踩起来很舒服，餐厅和酒吧就在海滩边上，晚上在酒吧里吹吹海风，喝一点酒，好像来到了天堂。 游泳池比较小，不过干净。酒店的每个服务员都很客气，即使是路上经过的服务员看到你，也会微笑说Hello,让人感觉很好，很亲切。 酒店的SPA做得很有感觉，价格也不算贵，大约人民币300元左右，很划算。 总之是一家让人感觉非常棒的酒店，我想如果有生之年还来兰达岛，我们会毫不犹豫再次选择这家酒店。

This is a very nice hotel with its own access to the beach. The rooms are well designed and spacious, and look out on a beautiful jungle. The area is quiet but has goo range of restaurants within a ten minute walk. The property looks like it has not yet recovered from the pandemic, and parts of it appear abandoned (including the beach access). The staff seem more cost conscious for this reason as well, and the attention to ensuring amenities is not always consistent. But overall these are minor complaints and I highly recommend staying here.

Le temps était pluvieux , dommage, l’île est magnifique 😍 L’hôtel super, propre , chambre spacieuse, belle sdb, nous avons pu louer des scooters sur place. An amazing little resort
The photos did not do this place justice at all! The resort in general and the rooms especially are much nicer than the photos. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. The Thai food was delicious and authentic, and so was the western food and the drinks. The staff are friendly and really helpful. I will definitely be going back again.

Perfect Romance
We had a perfect vacation with this hotel as a base. Swimming from the beach is possible during higher tides. The different high levels makes the views better but may be a challange if you are not walking well or is a small kid. The food is excelent, both morning and dinner. The moonlight bar is beautifully located and really romantic, but due to a really high price level, no guests are visiting that area. Please note when booking that sea view rooms are the second row from the beach and the room numbers start with 2. If you want the first row the rooms are Beach front and the numbers starts with 1. We staied at sea view and it was really good privacy up the hill with great view, but with 68 steps to the beach and restaurant/pool area

We had a wonderful 5 nights here. We booked the beachfront villas which were well worth the money. The view was incredible, also lovely to have a jacuzzi on your balcony to relax in privacy of your own room, however its a shame its only cold water. Staff were generally always friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to have friendlier / staff with better English in the moonlight bar. This is a fantastic space but unfortunately was always quiet and just lacked some enthusiasm to get the guests to drink and attend this area. The area itself is very quiet, a little bit of a walk to some local eats which is fine. Otherwise suggest hiring a scooter during your time to get about easily. Hotel restaurant was fairly well priced for food and drinks and lovely quality. Ocean is lovely to swim in with fairly easy access. the resort pool itself is freezing - no one actually used it except for the random child here and there. All in all would definitely recommend for those wanting to simply relax!

Fabulous stay at Moonlight Exotic Bay
We visited Moonlight resort mid September on our honeymoon and would highly recommend staying here. We extended our stay as we liked the accommodations so much. We have been in Thailand for a month and our dinner at the Moonlight restaurant was the best meal of our entire vacation. I would recommend spending the extra money to get a villa overlooking the ocean. Renting a motor bike from the hotel was super easy and it has been so fun exploring the island.

The property has an amazing location! The staff is super friendly and accommodating to what you want to do. Helped booked motorcycle, our ferry off the island. The beach bungalow has an amazing view. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic seafront villas and great service
Very nice and friendly service. The location of the seafront villas is amazing, very intimate with a perfect seaview. Beach is very rocky so don't expect to swim, but if you want a relaxing place in front of the sea with a premium service it is perfect. Private spa in the villas only have cold water by design, this should definitely be changed (nice during daytime but not at night). Will definitely come back if the spa can have warm water.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in außergewöhnlicher Lage.Tolles Frühstück und die Poolzimmer sind prima.Massage im Hotel war außergewöhnlich und fachlich sehr kompetent! The atmosphere at the Moonlight resort was great. We enjoyed our stay in the beachfront Villa with soaking tub. Other than that, service was very poor. Avoid eating in the restaurant unless you have at least 2 hours to kill. You may have to wait 30 minutes to receive a drink, menu, the check, etc. I slipped and hit my back getting out of the tub. I called the front desk and they said they would bring me an ice pack. No one ever came. We went into town to buy one at a pharmacy instead. The location is decent between towns and they have a scooter rental right at the front desk. They forgot to charge us for breakfast at checkout AND THEY TRACKED US DOWN THROUGH THE TRANSPORT TO MAKE US PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE. Beware, the staff will turn off the already inadequate air conditioning when they clean your room. We resorted to hiding the remote to keep our room slightly cool in the 95+ degree weather. We loved Koh Lanta and will hopefully get to return to the island but will not return to this hotel.

As a resort that tries to reduce its environmental impact as much as possible, we always turn off the air conditioning in a room if there is no one in it. It doesn't take long for the air conditioning to cool a room down (even a westerly facing beach front room during the hottest period of the year), and "hiding the remote" seems a little irresponsible. We are fairly confident that none of our guests have had to spend over two hours in the restaurant, unless they wanted to. The vast majority of our reviews mention how good the restaurant is. There was a short electrical power-cut when you checked out, which meant that we were unable to check for anything you'd put to your account that morning. We asked you if there was anything you'd put to your account, and you failed to mention your breakfast - we did not "forget" to charge you. Your Hotel is absolutely amazing, we had a room with pool access and the pool was perfect. The room was clean with great beds and linen.The bartender named Add made the stay even better. A little paradise, we will come back again fore sure.

Overall the stay was very pleasant, we got an upgrade when checking in which was nice for our Christmas stay. Korn and Pean on reception and Jack in the restaurant are worth a mention - 5* service from both! The location is quite far from the pier, so I imagine you would need a scooter or taxi to get around the island - although we only had 2 nights at the resort over Xmas eve, and Xmas day so spent the day relaxing on the sunbeds! Lovely private beach, good pool, nice library area to relax in and room was nice and clean with an amazing sea view. Considerations to imporove on: The moon bar opening earlier and providing waiter service around the pool and beach sunbed areas. The gym needs air con - so the windows don’t need to be open. We got attacked by many mosquitoes whilst in the gym because of this! Drinking water machine would be good also! Christmas service: Although many of the guests staying at Moonlight over the Christmas period were European, who celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. We felt as though Christmas Day has been forgotten, there was no music playing whilst we ate our dinner, there was no entertainment of any kind (Jack dressed up as santa on Christmas Eve which was great!) Overall the atmosphere for our Christmas dinner was a little slow and sad. A table of American guests next to us took it upon themselves to play their violin and sing their own Christmas songs which did really boost the atmosphere for us.

Dear SdB Many thanks for your great review. Our staff really enjoy reading feedback from our guests when they get a mention, so thank you for that too. Further to your comment about the Moon Bar, we are considering a waiter service around the pool area for the convenience of our guests, and we will look at opening the bar earlier as well. We are also looking in to the feasibility of air conditioning the gym. Your idea about having water in the gym is great, and that is something we will look to implement soonest. As the majority of our guests were continental Europeans over the Christmas period, there were more celebrations on Christmas Eve than Christmas Day.
