I had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Breakfast buffet was good and at par with other similar category hotels.
I also used a la carte dining at the restaurant. It was reasonably good.
Restaurant waiter’s service could better.

A not so 3 star property!
At the time of check-in, I was told that I am being upgraded to the business category room with which I was kind of happy and thanked the staff as I was really tired. However, when I entered the room, there was water on the floor (guess leaked from the overhead AC unit). After a while I realized that there was a smell in the room and hence I called up teh reception to ask if they had given me a smoking room. To this, I was told yes its a smoking room and I can smoke in there. I told the person that I dont smoke and hence I would like to change the room because of the smell to which he replied that they can spray a freshner in the room.
On telling that I need to change the room, I was told that there are only twin bed rooms! I had to go for it because of the smoking smell in the room; even though at the time of booking, I had clearly opted for non-smoking and king bed room.
Then in the restaurant, when I asked for the menu, I was handed over a torn menu card! I mean, you represent a world known brand so atleast keep up to the standards!

While I was upgraded upon check in and the room was beautiful with a great view, and the breakfast was nice, I had a horrible experience upon checkout at this hotel. To make a long story short, the hotel charged me almost $200 USD for two international phone calls I made despite the fact that I called the front desk before making the first call to ask if the phone was free to use, and they said “yes”.
The fact that the hotel manager would not refund me for this charge and honour their word is extremely disappointing. I had faith that Haritha would resolve the issue but she would not go around the policy and make an exception. I will not be staying at this hotel again. I believe you should always trust the customer, but in this case they sided with their staff who denied I had ever called to ask. Disappointing and I expect better.

Room had several issues. The electrical socket in the bathroom was not working. The Hair dryer was broken. The service in the restaurant was terrible. The Travel desk was not very forthcoming on their rates.
