This is one of those hotels where everything just works really well, all very practical, great value for money. Perfect location. Housekeeping, staff, location, breakfast, beach bar/restaurant, quiet beachside bungalows, all individually very good, but combining in a way to make the whole greater than the sum of the individual parts.

The property was well situated and clean. However, there was a big problem with ants crawling over the restaurant furniture and then food when served. Also I think Expedia need to check these hotels out before selling rooms at premium prices as they were still building cabins. Therefore, it didn't matter whether you was in your room, restaurant, swimming pool or beach, we were subjected to constant hammering, drilling, sawing and builders shouting to each other all day long.

Good beachfront location and in central area of Lamai. Close walking distance to many restaurants, bars and shops. Nice pool area and restaurant with beach view. Food was of good standard and they serve a buffet breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall a decently priced family hotel option.

Great resort hotel. Located on the beach in the heart of Lamai. Restaurant staff were excellent. Hotel staff were helpful and accommodating. Cleaning staff didn’t miss a spot. The resort is perfect for any age group. Very quiet area. I stayed in the hotel part of the resort and the views of the ocean and the sounds were really nice. You won’t be disappointed if you book with this resort. When I go back to Samui I’ll be staying at coconut beach resort. Only negative was there was no smart tv. No huge deal because your days a filled in that area.

I have been a guest at the Coconut Beach Resort in Lamai many times, over the last several years. They are consistently good. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is managed by Mr. Moo who always makes his guests feel welcome. The location on the beach is perfect and near everything that Lamai has to offer.
